We love to eat and try new flavours. Can Pujol restaurant is indeed famous for its food. The paella was just fantastic! 🤤 Now, the service..not so much. They served the food and in the end they brought the ticket. Nothing in between. Usually when you pick paella, they put a table next to yours (they did) with the paella on top, and one of the waiters should refill the plates if you want some more. Not a huge fault the fact we had to do it ourselves, because nobody was available or looking after tables. It’s not an extra request or exigence, it’s just the paella ritual, that right moment when you have the chance to praise the excellent food to the one who actually serves you, and carry on. The martini was brought in a common glass. I wanted to take a nice photo of the sea through the glass but I couldn’t. It was so scratched and overused, I couldn’t tell if it’s clean or not. The place looks clean so I suppose the glasses and cups too. It’s just that they didn’t changed the glasses since the opening in the 80’. For a full 5* experience I guess next time will go for the delivery. Can Pujol the...
Read morePet unfriendly restaurant that even after the new law of protection for animals (2023) discriminates pet owners and over all the pets. We had a table booked for 6 people and my friend came with her new dog recently rescued from a dog shelter, tiny small one well educated and she planned to keep him in a basket bag. Staff insisted to leave the dog outside their premises but there were no chance to do so. 30 degrees in the shade, small just rescued dog. What should we do? Leave him in the hot car or outside on the sidewalk tied to a pole? I do no support these kind of businesses and no one should! Karma is coming back one more time here.... By the way, we used to like the place - the food and the sea views. Honestly one of the best fideuá and paella. But after this experience I will look for an alternative and won't come back. I can live without a good fideuá but a small dog can't stand up for himself. My words will make the round on the island and in the end this island has a majority of...
Read moreMassive disappointment, worse "so called" seafood restaurant ever! We were recommended this place by a bar not far away. Walked up at 4pm to make a reservation for 8pm that evening. Arrived at 8pm, the veiw from table was perfect, ordered a glass of house rose and when tried to order the ibiza rock lobster, 57€ per person, we were told not available tonight so tried ordering again only to find out half the menu was unavailable. After speaking to different waiters it became apparent they wanted over 115€ for one lobster and 300€ for another but, then told us they did not want to cook it tonight. I was sat there in disbelief! We paid for our poor quality, half drank drinks and left! Although they did say sorry countless times I would recommend that you ask what is available on menu before sitting down to great disappointment (they didn't even...
