The best place to watch the sunset Was tempted by the food but the nachos seemed to be being not eaten a lot so that put me off and didn’t try it however there are also burgers etc available. Drinks are expensive - and you are pressured to buy a drink, as a family behind were waiting for their other party to arrive and I found the staff to be quite rude. Also when we arrived we sat in the shade with the intention of moving out of it as the sun was going down, when we moved we were greeeted by a rude (English) girl who asked why we had moved and why we hadn’t informed anyone - there isn’t a written rule to say you need to find someone and ask to move (quite dramatic!) pay system is strange for such a big place too. Also had a lady offering massages and to pay the price you thought it was worth. Dislike that as you don’t want to insult anyone but the reason we did go is we went a couple of years ago and saw the sunset here and I cried it was beautiful. Things have changed in the two years. Some for the better some not so much. The “hippy” store on site is overpriced. I wouldn’t go again as I have been twice now and it was my favourite place the first time I visited Ibiza but feel with the change of staff it’s lost its touch. Don’t think I would return as you can just stand on the beach and not have to remortgage your house for a cocktail. Disappointed this time. Views sensational though.

First of all, if you are only interested in the sunset, the beach right in front of Kumharas is free and fully available. Secondly, if there’s only two of you going be prepared to be seated at the back under the natural plants which will result in all different insects dropping on you. The cocktails are sold on average price, however the waiting time is ridiculous. On the picture attached, you can see my strawberry daiquiri which was completely melted by the time they finally served it. I didn’t try the food as you have to queue up for it and it is served in a canteen style when the chef just simply drops your portion into a take away box in a not so appetising way. But for me the worst was the toilet situation. Both genders are using the same toilet in Kumharas, meaning the sinks, toilets and urinals are all in the same room. Never felt this uncomfortable in my life.

Rate this place highly enough! A group of us turned up to this place on our first evening to the island and I'm so glad I did. The staff are brilliant very friendly good recommendations, there's no waiting around for drinks like in other places very efficient. The food is exquisite there's different stools set up in a street food style. (I highly recommend the Mexican👌🏼) It has a few other little stalls dotted about in the venue in a market'esk style. The sunset views in my opinion are far better here than anywhere else around the bay, After going in a few over hyped places like Mambo, I would easily choose Kumharas over any other. A much better experience all round at a fraction of the price. I will definitely be coming back on future Ibiza holidays. Highly recommend

Absolutely awful. I came here about 6 years ago and had a curry in the restaurant then we watched the sunset. It was lovely and relaxed. Last night I took my son back there and it was a horrible experience. We were rushed and asked repeatedly what drinks. My phone wouldn’t work so I couldn’t see the menu but we weren’t offered a menu. Not sure how you can decide what to drink if you don’t know what there is. I asked if they did mocktails and was told no. We had to leave our table to queue for about half an hour for a plain hotdog which cost €15 and then again for a “burrito”. It wasn’t even a burrito it was a chicken and veg wrap with uncooked onions. The only drink the incredibly rude waiter gave us was a coke that cost €4.85 (which the waiter brought the bill for even though I hadn’t asked for it yet) and we were so fed up we just left once we’d eaten the food. So disappointing as it should be a nice relaxing time. Don’t eat there as it’s massively overpriced and just not worth it. They’ve turned the place into another money grabbing experience so just grab some drinks and sit on the rocks. Oh and when I could open the menu on my phone when I’d left there are about 6 different mocktails. Not sure what the waiters problem was he was so rude to us. Almost ruined the last night of our holiday which was saved by some ice cream from Dodo on...

We were just here to eat and drink. The food is separate from the bar (self-service). We ordered an iced tea and a water, then went to the food trucks to get some food. After about 45 minutes, we wanted to take pictures at the sunset, but we were told that we could only go down if we paid because the table would be given to someone else. We then said that we would stay at the table and take pictures there.

Suddenly, the woman came with the bill, and shortly after, a man arrived saying he needed the table for someone else (they just wanted to get rid of us). My friend and I thought this was really rude. The man explained that we had only ordered two drinks in one hour and that supposedly 20 more people were waiting for a table. We then said that we had planned to order dessert and more cocktails. Long story short, we left, and our bill for the two drinks was covered by the house.

I still find this unacceptable! If they have a problem with how much people order, they should introduce a minimum consumption...
