Dunes Ibiza — Restaurant in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The drinks were the best in Ibiza. The food was better than most places I've had at much higher costs. The shisha there is the best I've had in Ibiza. I went everyday for 8 nights straight and the shisha hit amazingly.. the guy working the shisha bar there deserves everything he was the nicest guy in all Ibiza always welcomed me by shaking my hand and thanking me for coming he had a genuine heart he also gave us our last hookah free. We did go there a lot so I know it doesn't seem like much but he very well did not have to do that. But aside from the shisha the restaurant had great desserts I tried them all and the food from breakfast to dinner was amazing. The only complaint was the unisex bathrooms but that's really not a big deal here so I can't knock them for it. If I come back to ibiza I'm going here...

Great bar and restaurant. Good food and drinks in a good location. Service can be very very poor at times but for an unknown reason. It wasn't busy when I got there and I sat at a table waiting for service. The lady behind the bar greeted me as I walked in and I took a seat. There were maybe 6 other people/groups seated yet the 2 people serving walked past me several times and didn't take my order. Wij komen al heel wat jaren in Platja d'en Bossa en ook al zeer vaak bij Dunes geweest. Mooie zaak en je waant je echt in Ibiza. Je wordt zeer enthousiast naar binnen gepraat maar daarna veranderd de sfeer van de bediening. De afgelopen jaren duidelijk verschil opgemerkt in prijzen,kwaliteit van eten en bediening die graag met elkaar staan de kletsen. Helaas was het deze keer zo slecht dat we niet meer terug gaan. Hadden 2 x de Sirlon steak milanese besteld en 1 New York steak. In ieder ander restaurant is een Sirlon steak een biefstuk. Echter bij Dunes is het een keiharde gepaneerde schnitzel die uitgebakken was. Er wordt wat rucola,kaas en cherry tomaatjes op gedaan en het ziet er lekker uit als je het krijgt opgediend tot je gaat eten. Veel te hard dat het echt niet lekker is en maar ook geen bief is! Je betaald echter wel de prijs voor een steak!

Uiteraard een klacht ingediend en het gerecht terug gegeven. Helaas is het personeel daarna niet echt vriendelijk meer en gaat dit duidelijk zichtbaar met elkaar overleggen!! Daarna de New York steak besteld. De prijzen zijn niet naar verhouding met de kwaliteit van het eten en ook de drank is niet goedkoop.

De klant is hier helaas geen koning. Erg jammer want het had zo anders kunnen zijn maar voor ons houd het hier op.
