Xin Xin Restaurante — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

This was my first visit. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The young waitress is courteous and efficient. The open kitchen LOOKS clean however the older cook was standing WITH HIS SHOES on the food preparation table IN FRONT the open food containers cleaning the dividing glass in between the kitchen and the dining room. I only saw that as I was returning from the clean washroom after I had eaten. I complained and pointed it out to the waitress who informed the man. He thought it was funny and carried on while laughing it off. Hence for the lack of hygiene the one star rating. I ordered Peking duck which was disappointing. The beef, chicken or the noodles served to the other dinners...

This is one of our favorite places to come in Tenerife for Chinese food and sushi. The food is very good, they serve you fast, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. On the way to the restrooms you can see the kitchen through a plexiglass partition and it looks clean and so are the restrooms. They have an indoor dining room and you can also sit outside on the sidewalk. Prices are more than reasonable. I am one of those crazy hot sauce people and they have a really excellent homemade hot sauce. For those coming from the US the Chinese food will not be the same as you are used to at home, it's very good, they have an extensive menu but it's not the same, after all you cannot compare eating at an Italian restaurant in New York with one in Rome. We've been there several times already. They also offer home delivery.

Este es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para venir a comer comida china y sushi en Tenerife. La comida es muy buena, te sirven rápido, el personal es amable y el lugar está limpio. De camino a los baños se puede ver la cocina a través de una mampara de plexiglás y se ve limpia, al igual que los baños. Tienen un comedor interior y también puedes sentarte afuera en la acera. Los precios son más que razonables. Soy una de esos locos por la salsa picante y tienen una salsa picante casera realmente excelente. Para los que vienen de los EE. UU. la comida china no será la misma a la que están acostumbrados en casa, es muy buena, tienen un menú extenso pero no es lo mismo, después de todo no se puede comparar comer en un restaurante italiano en Nueva York con uno en Roma. Hemos estado allí varias veces ya. También ofrecen servicio...

We have enjoyed a delicious lunch with chinese food at Xin Xin while visiting Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Good veriety of food, fresh and tasty. The staf is friendly, not good english speakers but we have managed to communicate. Prices are great, lunch for 2 persons, we have paid almost 20 euros, nothing...
