This looked a promising night out for a chinese meal with friends. We were told how the 1234 menu worked but as it was night time only 123 menu was available which was a starter (1) a main(2) and a side (3). We were advised immediately that the service charge was not included, then asked if we wanted prawn crackers which we agreed to having, 4 adults and 2 Prawn Crackers each at an extra cost but this did not bother us it was more amusing. Drinks served and order taken by the man who had show us to our table. Starters for 2 of us: Hot and sour soup and 1 spring roll. The soup smelled like a sewer but despite this i tried it and it tasted really bad, sour was one description but the smel and taste made this inedible. The spring roll was very oily and the plate was really greasy. Mains Beef curry and rice, beef looked raw but was ok and as beef liked pink it was passable, the rice was nothing to write home about. Sweet and sour chicken and rice.......this made up for the awful soup and was ok. The best main was by far the crispy shredded beef it hit a wow for sure and was brilliant......pity I didn't order it and just tried it. $th meal was ok and can't even remember what my friend had but know it was ok. During the meal a huge moth flew into my friend's face, bounced off landed near the awful soup (must have smelled it and then flew around our table.....we girls screamed) we were then approached by the waiter who was arrogant and rude since we had come into the restaurant, he began by telling us that unlike our country " in the Tropics we get flies"......I never knew Ibiza was between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn until the rude waiter advised our party. Who knew? the moth was by no definition a fly it was the size of a squash ball but we stood corrected by the waiter who enlightened us we were in the Tropics. Bill time and again the waiter was rude when we asked for 2 bills, wow we really had picked the day he got out of the bed the wrong side........on paying and leaving a tip he got extremely aggitated and threw the tip at my friend......... I would like to add the chinese waiters and waitresses were professional and friendly unlike the oik in charge.
Question? Would we eat here again? sorry it is a no due to the person working there having the hospitality...
Read moreTHE WORST RESTAURANT AND MOST RUDE WAITER EVER! Never come to this restaurant people! After we ordered the food, the Spanish middle-aged man who seems like the owner asked us if we want prawn chips, we of course said yes cause normally Chinese restaurants offer these chips to start for free. When we finished and got the bill, they charged us 2.8 euros for the chips. We then asked the guy if it should be free, he said “no, I asked you just like how I asked with everybody else”. Then I told him “you should have asked that if we want chips for 2.8 euros mentioning the exact price”. He didn’t respond and just left to take the credit card machine to took our money. His attitude immediately changed to be rude and annoyed since that moment. Once we paid he turned his back and walked inside IMMEDIATELY without even saying thank you or saying goodbye to us. We were in shock! Cannot believe how he can be such a rude disrespected one that got caught trying to scamming people by the cheap trick like that! We wouldn’t leave this long negative review if he’d had apologized to us for not informing about the price cause 2.8 euros is nothing. It’s all about honesty but they wanna scam customers, especially tourists. No need to mention food is all fried, oily and not worth the money at all. WILL NEVER...
Read moreGrubby restaurant, run by an arrogant, ignorant male. Chinese waiter & waitress ok, dictated to my owner, who yells at them. Was seated there last week , no napkins on table, no condiments. Seated in the outside area hand rails are filthy dirty… toilets had no hand soap hand dryer didn’t work, no hand towels, very concerning when staff use them. Service was appalling, had to ask for drinks, then to order, starter was nice. Main course arrived, 2 x curry’s , wasn’t curry, tasted like stir fry…. Asked if this was the right order told yes. We disagreed, was told we had over ordered and that are eyes where bigger than our bellies. Paid the bill for what we had, left the restaurant with the owner shouting abuse at us as we walked down the road. We come to es Cana once or twice a year and love it. We will never go to this restaurant again. I don’t know if they have health inspectors like the uk , if they do, then this place...
