I was served raw chicken and still had to pay for the Cesar salad. Because I ate half of the lettuce. I was only able to eat one piece of the chicken and when the other pieces were questionable I ate around it. But after avoiding the other pieces that looked undercooked I got to one piece that was completely raw. I immediately flagged it and asked for my check. After reviewing the bill I saw that they charged me for raw chicken salad.
He said since I ate half ( the salad, not the chicken he had to charge me)
I then said fine remake the salad but I became scared it was going to still be raw. I said forget it and I will pay the bill and for the salad.
To be honest the waiter was nice and I’m sure he’s just doing his job. But where im from you would never be charged if your dish consisted of raw meat.
He would bring the salad back since I was finishing my drink and they didn’t even remake the salad. They kept the same lettuce on the plate and removed the raw chicken and gave it back to me. That’s inexcusable.

Read moreWe are regular visitors to Ibiza and stay in Siesta. This summer, due to travelling with our baby girl, we were looking for a restaurant in the vicinity to our appartment and came across The Village. Attracted by the big grill and enticing smell we decided to sit down at one of the tables close to the grill where you get a good view on how the meals are prepared. We had the sirloin angus steak and salmon with sides and it was delicious. The meat was tender and very tasty, the Chimichurri and pepper sauces gave it some extra flavor. The atmosphere, food and drinks were really great so we decided to come back for two more dinners. One time with great live music by Flawless, an outstanding duo with phenomenal voices. We can only recommend going there and will return next year for more great food and...
Read moreThe setting is beautiful and on the whole we enjoyed our meal but there were elements that let it down. The bruscetta wasn't really a bruscetta, more toast with alot of rocket and parmesan and 1 cherry tomato cut in half per piece of bread, but the prawn starter was lovely and a very generous size. There were elements of the sharing meat board we had that were lovely - the chicken was the stand out on it, really well cooked and flavourful but the ribs and beef were overcooked, dry and chewy. I'm not sure what cut the pork was but it was inedible - almost all fat and it hadn't been rendered down so you couldn't cut through it so we didnt end up eating any of it as we just coul3dnt cut it. A bit disappointed after reading such amazing reviews but sadly it didn't quite live up to the...
