Word of Mouth (WOM) - Santa Eulalia — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

Amazing Sunday Lunch! I had booked here a few weeks before arriving in Ibiza and could not remember why! I remember texting my sister in the morning saying I was not sure and maybe to cancel but we decided to give it a go and omg, so pleased we did! When we arrived it was completely full with just a solitary table left, which was our reservation. Josephine was fantastic from start to finish, a really lovely lady with a real warmness to her. It was extremely busy in here with cool tunes. Sunday lunch was fantastic, as was the dessert. The dessert was like a doughnut, but not a doughnut if that makes sense! I would love to visit on a day other than Sunday to sample other food, such as the falafal or the kale. One small point, and only my opinion, but I think this business should try and turn their tables around quicker. We noticed that several couples came to the entrance but left because of no space, yet there was a table of 8-10 people to the side of us who did not order one drink during our visit, and we were here for 90 minutes! Maybe the business are not so revenue focused, but this restaurant is a real gem in the middle of Santa Eulalia and they should maximise as much as possible. Will definitely return....

Went there this weekend gone. Honestly everything was spot on. As soon as we got there the staff came over to greet us, sorted our table and took the drinks order straight away, our food was fantastic, all the staff were great with us, the DJ was on fire, totally playing to the moment with proper picks, when we asked for the bill the staff came with it right away and when we gave them a tip for the excellent service they were genuinely thankful and just finished a superb night off. Aside from the top class food, drink, staff, DJ, ambience etc, it's well worth pointing out that WOM is in a great location too right on the beach. These days in Ibiza there are more and more places that are just extorting customers and with increasingly poor service and food. Most people don't mind an expensive night out there as long as they get quality and the best service from nice people. Sadly it's becoming the norm now to be charged a crazy amount for bang average food from miserable staff. A real hidden gem on the island, catches the true Ibizan spirit of great food, music and location, right by the beach at the end of a curling strip of sand. We arrived to live music from a great band, followed by lovely chilled and eclectic music from DJs, and were even treated to a beautiful full moon rise over the bay. The food was fabulous, excellent value for money and you'd find much below this standard at twice the price around the island. We had a range of dishes between us, pick of them was ceviche and the burrata salad. The ceviche was tangy, fresh and just perfect. The burrata brilliant, with flourishes and touches that rise it above the normal. Of note too were truffle fries. Service was fast and friendly, despite being very busy and having a large group, everything was quick and efficient, with drinks and food arriving very promptly. I can highly recommend a stop at this place, it’s worth a detour and hunting out from the usual fare.
