Today I had a great time dining at the “Europa bar”a cozy and welcoming establishment. The atmosphere here is conducive to relaxation: the cozy interior, friendly faces and the feeling of home comfort create ideal conditions for a relaxing pastime.
I chose a tuna salad, fried squid and a glass of rosé wine. Each dish exceeded expectations. The squid was deliciously fresh, tender and tasty. The side dish was French fries, which, despite my habit of avoiding potatoes, I could not help but try. They were home-cooked, with a minimum amount of oil, crispy and light, which perfectly complemented the main course. A special pleasure was the glass of rosé wine, served in a glass chilled to the right temperature, which added sophistication to the moment.
The restaurant is run by a friendly family, and this is noticeable in everything - from the warm, almost family-like atmosphere to the attentive service. The sangria is dark, has depth of flavour, made with care and poured correctly through a thick slice of orange (second jug was different fruits! I haven’t had a better sangria). Read moreWe found this place on our first night and what a lovely little find it was, the host Miguel was very accommodating, it was a bit chilly and he could tell we were a bit cold and put a gas heater on and pulled right up to our table, the service was great from Miguel and his father and the food came out quickly. I had a vegetable pizza and my partner had the beef steak both were cooked nicely and with care and reasonably priced. The best part of our meal was the aioli which was the best I have ever had, garlicky just to the point of overpowering. Yummy.
