I can honestly say that some of the reviews I have read couldn't be further from the truth. We had a fabulous 10 day holiday at this hotel, the staff were so helpful and always polite, approachable and smiling. The rooms although yes they are extremely dated, are just perfect for what you need, nice and clean, with comfortable beds, a good sized bathroom with a bath, plus shower over it. A TV with plenty to watch if you just want a break night in. We were on the 7th floor and we had a great view from the balcony over Can Picafort and the sea and there were two lifts so easy to get up to the rooms and down to the main area. We didn't use the spa/gym etc, but we did have a look and it looked a nice and relaxing area to be in if you wanted to be away from the sun. The bar and pool area were not chaotic at all, plenty of room for all guests even when the hotel is full and they were nice and clean and comfortable to be in. They had snacks available from burgers and hotdogs to pizzas and salad and fruit. Drinks of course were available and there is an outside machine for slushies, fizzy drinks and other soft drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner I felt had plenty of variety, even for the most fussy and offered healthy and indulgent food every time. My favourite had to be the pancakes and chocolate spread for breakfast. Also plenty of my absolute favourite watermelon. The entertainment was great also, Pedro is constantly working to get people engaged in games, dancing, singing, art, quizzes and much more in the day/evenings. Plus he does do Yoga and Pilates in the mornings and aqua aerobics when people wanted it. He just has the most amazing positivity and brings a smile to your face with his energy. He is also full of knowledge, so if you need anything do ask him (or at reception as they are full of information also) and he will help anyone if needed. The hotel is in a great position, only a 5 min walk to the beach and shops, but a decent amount away from the chaos of holiday makers. The only down side for me was the lack of plug sockets in the rooms given the amount of chargeable items people have, so I would recommend that you take a multi socket. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat and my children didn't want to leave and have begged to go back. I want to thank all the wonderful staff there each and every one made our holiday just perfect.

Had a relaxing break at this great hotel, Just what we needed, not a noisy hotel, we found respectful staff and guest, cleaners did an amazing job daily, providing towels bedding toiletries, thank you each one and all! ||Arrival was met by the lovely Aimee, a lovely lady who provided assistance, laughter and translations when struggling to communicate with other guests, multitasking and multilingual, amazing lady! Each one on reception deserve a mention for their polite and assisting manner. Thank you!||The entertainment is always dependent on participating guests, even though it was never full around the pool area, we all, at some point, took part !! A little encouragement was needed which did the trick! Providing a great platform for the guest to have fun getting to know each other and generally have a good laugh and bonding. ||Special thanks to Gary (and Christine, the book is said to be great) who shared his winning bottle with us losers, haha ! Also mention to the talented Taddy (unless it's darts haha) and his beautiful mother from Czech, wishing all the luck in the world to you both !! Thank you to our lovely entertainer, we wish you a fun spent year bringing the joy and memories to people's days. Hope you get the lovely snow when you visit home!!||The hotel was catering for many nationals, so plenty of different foods to try out! Always lots of variety, whether breakfast, dinner or tea time. Snacks provided are also had a great selection. Catering staff had been very hard working, helpful polite and courteous. As we recall Barbara, Youseef? Martin, Roberto many many more to mention, bar staff and upfront of house staff, thank you for all your hard work and service! Keep up the amazing service you provide. Blessings to each and all!||Each family/couple we met had been, friendly and interactive, recalling some forever memories, Freda, health and happiness to this beautiful lady, will forever be in our cherished memories, how we sat for hours chatting, even though neither spoke the same language! Haha!! ||The hotel is situated up from the beach and harbour around 10 minute stroll, convenient for access to transport, shopping Aldi 10 minute stroll away! ||Our rep Audrey was welcoming and compassionate to situations that arouse. Thank you !! ||Would we go again? Absolutely, we didn't have anything to complain about, this was a great...

I recently stayed in this hotel with my teenage daughter. Great location and the cleanliness met basic standards, but that I'm afraid is where the positives end. I have never encountered such a sinfully miserable bunch of staff in my life and considering the hotel was 50% British occupied I found it perculiar that very few staff were English-speaking. I would fully understand this if we were holidaying in a more residential part of Mallorca but Can Picafort is very much a tourism resort. We paid all inclusive yet used very little of what was included. The food was poor. Breakfast was edible and provided enough choice for the fussiest of eater to find but the evening meal was not to standard. We ate on the first evening and it was cold and very unappetising, what we did eat was tasteless and bland. As a result we ate out for the rest of the week, not what you pay all inclusive for. Entertainment was provided on just one evening despite the notice board advertising daily entertainment. We were overcharged for tourist tax on arrival so please be aware of what you should be paying beforehand! I was charged for my daughter who should not be charged as she is under 16. I never questioned at the time as it was 2am when we arrived and I was tired. When I did question it later in the week it took several attempts and several different staff to process the refund onto my card as nobody seemed to know how to process a refund? The final nail on the coffin came though when me and my daughter missed our early morning transfer back to the airport, which I of course take full responsibility for. After speaking with our travel company, who were most helpful, I was advised to explain the situation to reception and ask them to call us a taxi. I did as they advised but the man on reception decided to arrange an alternative form of transport without my agreement. He had sent for what I now believe to be his wife instead of a registered taxi. I should have been charged 70 euros but she charged me 90 euros instead. They saw I was a vulnerable single mother in a state of stress and took advantage of that. Shame on you and shame on your hotel for allowing...

What a lovely Hotel, we spent 7 nights here and I can say the staff are amazing and worked very hard, I read a few reviews before we got there ( not before booking due to changing hotel last minute) a lot of reviews mentioned food, We found that at breakfast that there was enough choice from cereals to cooked food and cold meats. Lunch time we was mostly on the beach but the few times we at at lunch again found a variety food and always something to eat . And don't forget the snacks in the bar area pizza, hot dogs, chips, salad burgers etc.. Evening meals we ate in every night of our stay again I would say that there was definitely a good choice of varied food every night, I certainly enjoyed trying different things although some reviews mentioned food was cold yes it was not piping hot but don't be put off by this there is a microwave to warm it up, I'm sure some of those who put this in their reviews at some point must of used a microwave at home to re heat food so what's the issue? The hotel its self was very clean in all areas we used from reception, toilets, bar, restaurant, lifts. The room was cleaned every day during my stay and had a small fridge, TV plenty of hanging and draw space, safe, aircon. Pool arear was clean and tidy plenty of loungers and under cover seating area. Entertainment, again we only made use of the evening entertainment a few times this was mainly when there was a young man on doing bingo or karaoke, unfortunately this was the only down side to my stay, using you tube for karaoke and when you sang the music stopped he did explain there was some technical issues and during bingo the balls kept falling out his hand winding bingo ball machine which in its self was entertaining, but he was a very nice person and did try to involve every one.

Go here. I went here for a few short days and fell in love with Mallorca. Can Picafort is a beautiful place that is great for the family. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the drinks were nice. However, there is not a good option for vegetarians/vegans as most of the food is meat based. On top of this the food is nice, but most of the time is left out all day so if it is the same food as the morning it will be stale. I would not recommend to bring kids here as there is no entertainment. I think they should take into consideration that not just children like having entertainment. From the 4 days we were there, there was only 1 singer that was mediocre at best. Unfortunately we did not try the spa facilities. However, if it is like the rest of the hotel, it'll be clean and relaxing. Finally, the decor is quite dated and can feel like you are in your grand parents house. The rooms are a good size with a balcony for each room. I would definitely recommend getting a room on the top floors (4th-7th) as you will get the best view. I was on the 6th floor with beautiful scenery surrounding us. On the final morning we saw the most beautiful sunrise. You should definitely look at the place. It is very near to the beach. It would be 5 stars but the food could be better.
