firstly, if I could give a zero stars, I would . We visited this restaurant earlier this week, having been drawn in by its standout aesthetic among the beachfront venues. Unfortunately, what began as a promising dining experience quickly turned disappointing.
I ordered a burger, and when it arrived, I was surprised to find that the patty was bright pink in the middle—clearly undercooked. Having eaten several burgers on the island already, all of which had been properly cooked through, I flagged this to one of the waiters. They took the plate back to the kitchen, apologized, and said they would cook it further.
However, when the plate returned, I was shocked to see that instead of preparing a fresh burger, they had simply taken the half-eaten patty and bun, reheated it, and served it back to me. Upon cutting into it again, the burger was still visibly pink and undercooked. I left the rest of the meal untouched.
When asking for the bill, I politely explained to the same waiter that the burger had not been cooked further. He said he would speak with the chef. At this point, we had already given up on the meal.
What was most disappointing was the handling of the situation. In our experience—both here on the island and back home in the UK—if a guest is clearly unhappy with a meal and leaves it mostly untouched, it’s standard hospitality to at least reduce the bill or remove the item. Instead, we were told, quite bluntly, that “mince is pink” and “it is what it is.”
I respectfully explained that yes, raw mince is pink—but when it’s properly cooked, it turns brown. If this had been a steak burger, I would’ve expected and accepted a pink center. But it wasn’t. I also asked to speak to the manager, only to be told they weren’t available.
We reluctantly paid the full bill, but left feeling extremely disappointed by both the food quality and the lack of care or accountability in how the issue was handled. If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers a polite service where food is cooked through, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
EDIT: I received a reply from the manager of this establishment shortly after my review, I have to say I am pleased with the comments they have come back to me with and of the level of service that should’ve been provided to me. Perhaps the staff working that day were not competent enough, given the reply from the management apologising, I would try this establishment again in the...
Read moreThere’s nothing to say other than how amazing this place was! We were in can picafort for 5 nights and dined here twice because of how delicious the food was, even though there was no shortage of restaurants near the beach. Not only was the food great, but the service and atmosphere too. Making a booking was super easy both online and in person (I would recommend booking because the restaurant looked pretty full on both occasions where we ate here). We booked a table on the terrace and got a table a row back from those closest to the beach. We then asked if we could move to an empty table closest to the beach and the staff had no problem in allowing us to move there. The staff were honestly lovely. We don’t speak any Spanish but they spoke perfect English and we felt very catered to. The drinks and the food were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The restaurant was stunning with a very modern design. The lighting was pretty and the view was stunning, especially at sunset. Truly a great experience and I would recommend that you try...
Read moreA nicely designed restaurant with an okay rating and a nice view on the beach. Unfortunately, thats all the good things we can say about it. Going in there we expected to pay a little bit more but also that the place would live up to our expectations. Starting with the aioli /bread combo, we were wondering quite a while about the secret ingredient which made it really hard to enjoy. She had some Spaghetti paella mix which she fought her way half way through to kill the hunger but no more. I had the artichoke bacon taco whatever and i can defintely NOT recommend it - my expectations were completely different. Also the crispy chicken salad was amongst the 3 worst ceasar salads i have ever had - boring, fast food like setup, absolutely nothing to rectify the steep price of almost 20 euros. This place is nothing more than a money printing machine. All in all we paid more than 60 euros for no culinaric satisfaction at all. Also the music they turned up as soon as we got served was way too loud which also ruined the atmosphere. Dont let the...
