Restaurante Niagara — Restaurant in Santa Margalida

I recently visited Restaurante Niagara in Can Picafort, Mallorca, and my experience was highly disappointing and concerning. We ordered ice cream, and it was an absolute disaster. The ice cream was already melted and dripping from the cone mere seconds after being served. It was inedible, and we had to throw it away.

What was even more alarming was the response when I asked for a refund. The waiter pretended not to understand English, which seemed like a deliberate attempt to avoid addressing the issue. Eventually, an elderly man, likely the owner, rudely told me that I got what I saw and there was nothing he could do. He even told me to shut up. This level of rudeness and lack of customer service is unacceptable.

Moreover, I am concerned about the safety and hygiene standards of this establishment. Serving melted and potentially spoiled ice cream poses a health risk and should be investigated by government health authorities.

I strongly advise against visiting Restaurante Niagara. It’s not only a waste of money but also potentially dangerous. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this...

I was there with my family (2 adults 2 toddlers) and before we stopped we had walked on but I had a feeling this place was very inviting(acogedor) and had the feeling to go back immediately . We had been wanting tapas for some time and saw that they offered that. Ordered a few different things like mejillones marinera (sauce is absolutely divine), chipirones ( fried squid), spicy chicken wings, patatas bravas ( the sauce for than is to die for) and some beer and sangria. Besides the service being great, the food was delicious, the owners were so charming, especially with our girls. Owned by a mallorquin man and a Colombian woman (married couple), we felt right at home. It’s super laid back, right on the boardwalk with no traffic or dangers therefore children can run free. I can confidently say that this was the most delicious paella in Mallorca! 💛Everything was in moderation, but there was a lot of seafood, and of course it was a pleasure! Very friendly staff, it was the best dinner in Mallorca! The guys who work there - you are magicians! They put me in a good mood and surprised me with the most delicious paella I have ever tasted!
