Visited without a reservation, not long after they’d opened for the night (open at 8pm) and were the first through the door although there were locals sat on stools outside. Our waiter spoke very good English and was welcoming. The food arrived quite quickly and was delicious! We were persuaded to try the ‘best cheesecake in Santander’ and it didn’t disappoint. Lamentable. Comida para nueve personas y no se puede decir nada más positivo. Para empezar, a la hora de reservar nos dicen que los martes cierran pero que en este caso, al ser semana de Nochebuena, van a cerrar el domingo (día 18/12) y abrir el martes (20/12). Al llegar, vimos el restaurante vacío y nos mosqueó ya que sólo había una pareja en todo el restaurante, miramos en Google y salía que estaba cerrado (malo). Se pidieron tres raciones de rabas y tres de mejillones en salsa y vinagreta, un cinco de nota por decir algo para las raciones. De principal, se pidieron tres de arroz caldoso de bogavante (22€/ración), cuatro de arroz negro que tenían fuera de carta y dos de arroz con verduras. Ninguno llegó al aprobado. El arroz con bogavante se quedó prácticamente como salió en el perolo porque tenía un sabor ácido tirando a malo; el arroz negro muy muy justo de sabor y el arroz con verduras se quedó casi sin tocar, ya que una vez probado tenía el mismo sabor que el de bogavante. No se pidieron postres. Lo mejor fue el vino, Casona Micaela y el agua, Solares (botella de plástico de supermercado) que nunca fallan. Sobre los arroces, se le comentó a la camarera, pidieron disculpas (los cobraron igual) y tuvieron el "detalle" de invitar a los cafés (4 pedidos de 9 comensales). Está claro que no...
