Food....super fantastic...service was a bit aloof and lacking in details.
Remarkable food....crab pudding, veal sweet breads and monkfish....bacon from heaven/flan...
Remarks about service...overcharged for bread, we had one piece...billed for 2, water, requested, never delivered, but billed...lastly leftover crab pudding...no croutons included when specified at time of packing...
So...for the chef, excellent chef...go for the food....but the service...I personally was so insulted...that I could never return...
My advice is try other places...where management invest in service, at a minimum of the quality of the food...this place steals your monies...this even after the second in charge acknowledged the mistake, but did nothing about the details....nothing addressed...no value consideration...obviously did not want or need our business...so I cannot...

The food was absolutely top quality and perfectly presented. One of our party who had the merluza (hake) said that it was the freshest fish he had ever eaten. The friendly and professional attention from all the staff made it extra special. The wine waiter in particular took a great deal of time in explaining the unique characteristics of the wine we had chosen in friendly and chatty manner as if we were the only customers he had to serve that evening.

Read moreMe quedé planchado. No supe ni reaccionar. Hace unos días estuvimos en el restaurante Gele (hacía mucho que no íbamos pues no nos gusta el ambiente que tiene). Pedimos el menú del día de 24€. Mi pareja pidió una ensalada de bonito con cebolla caramelizada (estaba rica y era buena ración) y de segundo rape en salsa americana (que estaba regular) y yo una sopa de pescado (estaba rica) y un entrecot al punto que me trajeron pasado y no me hizo gracia. Pero, a parte de la buena o mala calidad de la comida, mi comentario es, más bien, por la contestación que me dio el camarero al servirme la sopa. Me sirvió dos cacitos de ella con un montón de trocitos de langostino, pescado y alguna almeja. Al ver tanto tropiezo y poco caldo, le pedí al camarero si por favor me podría echar un poco más de caldo. Contestación del camarero: "ESO ES LO QUE ENTRA EN EL MENÚ". No supe que contestar. Me quedé tan planchado que no le dije nada. Pero si las órdenes de la empresa son esas, lo siento mucho, pero habéis quedado como bastante mal. Otra cruz que le pongo a un restaurante...
