Today, while on vacation in Mallorca, we drove 30 minutes from Llucmajor to have dinner at Pablo. This is our second visit to Pablo in 3 days.
We originally stumbled upon Pablo when looking for some dessert and coffee on a Sunday night. We had a lovely time and had an amazing tiramisu while sitting at one of the tables in a beautiful alley. A very kind and attentive server was taking care of us, made my spouse a cup of fresh mint leaves tea and when my wife ordered a second cup, she brought out a fresh ginger root and suggested that she could grate some for my wife to “spice” the tea up. We had an amazing time.
We decided that we just had to try Pablo for a full dinner experience! Tonight, we returned and were seated in their most amazing garden area! Again, all we experienced is kindness and attention from the server, chef and owner. The chef came out to talk to us at the end of our meal and we had a wonderful talk about her story - and ours!
The food was delicious (and we are picky eaters). We indulged in the tapas variety as well as 3 different pasta dishes, and of course finished the evening off with some more tiramisu!
We have now tried steakhouses, seafood restaurants, beach spots, mountain top restaurants with “a view”, and the Michelin rated Jacaranda, and we can easily say Pablo was the best dining experience in Mallorca for us (and interestingly enough with the smallest check that we’ve had on the island so far).

An absolutely terrible experience. We walked in from the street. Randomly. The restaurant looked cozy. Lovely courtyard. But that’s the only good thing to say about the place.
Service was slow, we never got the water we ordered—only the wine, which was sour and bitter. The food was tasteless and took a very long time to arrive.
When we were leaving, we were clearly told that tips were not included and that we could add them via card payment. The female server even pointed at the screen to show where to press to add a tip. It was extremely inappropriate to be pressured like that. For what??? Bad service and bad food???
We could have tipped with cash, but chose not to.
As we were leaving the restaurant, the female server shouted at us, saying it was rude not to leave a tip. She actually followed us out into the street and continued shouting at us—for not tipping.
I have never experienced anything like it and can in no way recommend this place. At all. Avoid...
Read moreThe food and general atmosphere is fine. But I need to comment on the service/the staff… First of all, this comment is not related to the young German waiter - she did a good job! That being said, the male waiter (seemed to be the boss) should find another job. I don’t like to use words like these, but his attitude was not okay; angry, stressed, frustrated. In the moment, i just thought he had a very bad day - but other reviews show that its not the first time - unfortunately… And another, and maybe even more important thing: the replys from the owner on the reviews… How can you reply to your customers in that way? If i had read the replys from the owner on previous reviews before my visit I would have chosen another restaurant (now i expect to get the same inappropriate reply -...
