We ate here twice whilst in Santanyi. The first meal was decidedly average (a salad), the second diabolical. Whilst we waited over an hour for food, I was served a very flat Aperol Spritz whilst my friend was told that they didn’t serve Prosecco by the glass (only if it’s added to Aperol evidently?!) I was glad she was spared the fizless fizz. We waited an hour for food. We ordered paella for four & a burger. The burger was burnt on the outside & the lettuce was rancid. We’d asked for it with no egg or bacon yet it arrived with the greasiest slab of overcooked egg. The menu said it came with chips but they were roast potatoes. Who serves burger with potatoes?! They were cold. The paella arrived - for two! So we had a measly portion each. Divided between four we had ONE small chunk of chicken each … no other meat, & other than an occasional tiny shrivelled mussel there was no other seafood. A packet of savoury rice would have been more appealing. Worst paella I’ve ever had. We sent the food back & tried again with different choices from the menu (God knows why) & waited a further hour. Another burger turned up which we hadn’t ordered as the thought of trying another one literally turned my companion’s stomach. I played safe with Padron Peppers but they were really oily. Two pasta meals were average. My friend ordered a chicken dish which was essentially a plate covered in beige fried mush - none of us could actually decipher what it was. It was totally inedible. It went back untouched. The staff were incompetent, the owner clearly annoyed that we’d complained which dissuaded us from complaining a second time & to add insult to injury they brought us the bill (with burger & paella omitted) but then took a further 30 minutes to bring the card machine. I feel they were deliberately rude. I wanted to walk without paying but my friends are more fair & honest. They didn’t deserve to be paid one cent. I’d give zero stars if I could. Do not go here. Go to Alchemy...
Read moreThe restaurant is located right in the city and had decent choice of food. I had very bad experience being Asian customer here. I visited here with 4 kids and two other friends (one being 7months pregnant). We sat at the edge of the restaurant so we wont bother any other customers. The server not only that he did not offer us to order, he got all the new customers' orders around us. We called servers to get attention multiple times. The male server finally got our order and waited so long to get the food. We could realize that we were treated differently because there was no silverware or placemats like others. One of our hungry kids was sent to get her folk and came back with a place full of silverware which is not what the servers should do. We tried to raise the issue then all of sudden this lady in green dress came and started yelling at us if we were going to talk, we should get out. And started saying non sense english phrase like "I am not your wife or husband," while she took my daughter's plates away. This server reacted like she was drunk or something. My son was crying for food and they did not even bother even we asked to just feed the kids. When my pregnant friend tried to talk to them afterwards three of servers were very aggressively and physically pushing her and claimed that they got hurt due to that. The server called police on us although they started physical contacts and we reported to the police and the server that physically abused my 7 months pregnant friend. Ironically, the servers went to the clinic for their own aggressiveness. I do not recommend this restaurant...

Incredulous, apathetic, unprofessional and hopefully out of business at the end of the season. What should have been a happy family dinner during summer holidays turned into a farcical debacle. So what? Exactly; so what would make you want to dine at a restaurant that: you have to invite yourself in to in order to sit down (4 staff couldn't care that you were there at all; that's not important, correct?); One order was misplaced and only brought out after the rest of the dishes had been consumed (rule #1 in restaurant handbook, no?); One dish forgotten (no big issue, right?- we didn't have to pay for it did we); One dish (pork loin) so poorly cooked that it was tough on the outside, undercooked in the middle and was as bland as anything (this from an Englishman, surely that can't be good?); and On trying to talk to the owner (who had shown no interest on making sure her patrons were happy) to offer some feedback on our experience... we were told by her...."SO WHAT?.... (but that's her prerogative as customers' opinions are not needed and reputations cannot be undone by one set of unhappy diners, can they?) So why not do yourself a favour and bypass this disgraceful excuse for a restaurant and try any of the other establishments nearby (there are at least 10 or so). Anywhere other than Sa Plaça.... I beg you...... (you have been warned)! Score = 1/10 (not even the 1 star minimum) as I feel sorry for the staff that have...
