Sa Cova Bar i Tapes Santanyí — Restaurant in Santanyí

Came out of the church next to the bar with a 2-year old daughter 2 minutes before opening time to find a toilett for the little one who have stopped using diapers. Asked nicely if she could use the bathroom to pee since there was no toilet in the church, the waitress said «no sorry we are closed, look somewhere else». I explained the situation and she still said that they were closed and pointed down the street. My daughter peed in her dress before we could find another toilet and was very upset. Thanks a lot!

Edit after reply from Sa Cova: I chose the closest place to the church since time was of the essence, so yes, I wrote a review on service and atmosphere since your waitress had none of them and like I said was solely responsible for a small girl wetting her brand new dress during a wedding. We went to Sa Cova twice. The first time we got there by happy accident and decided to try tapas. We had oxtale ragout with rosemary potatoes, prawn skewer with pesto, grilled goat cheese with figs and honey, anchovies, cream cheese with paprika and bread with aioli and olives. Everything was really lovely. Prawns and goat cheese were exceptional. The service is more than friendly - fast and always with a smile even if the restaurant is fully booked. Honestly I cannot understand negative comments regarding the service. They speak different languages and do their job very well.

A large selection of drinks and tapas in the well furnitured restaurant will give you the chance of a longer stay in this well furnitured restaurant. The food is tasty, beverages are cold and the prices are absolutely fair. Regarding the quality and the location they are below average.
