Royal tandoori — Restaurant in Santanyí

We thought we would go for Indian food on our last night at Cala D’or and also wanted to eat by the marina so this restaurant seemed to fit the bill.

I submitted a reservation request through their website and was given a phone call an hour or so later to confirm the booking.

The positive experiences didn’t end there. We were given a really friendly welcome by the owners’ son and taken to our table. He took the time to ensure we were happy with our drink choices and then came back to take our order, explaining the different flavours and combinations of spices.

We received some crisp popadoms which were absolutely superb, shortly followed by my starter of onion bhaji (see the photo). It was the first time I’d had one cooked in this way and it was tremendous, perfectly cooked.

Our main courses arrived quickly - we had a chicken korma, chicken tikka masala and butter tikka chicken. They were all absolutely superb, filled with flavour. We accompanied the food with a garlic naan and a peshwari naan, again really tasty.

We found the kids menu to be a great addition to the menu too and the chicken nuggets were, according to my youngest, the best he’s ever had.

All in all this was a great way to finish our holiday. The food and service were absolutely outstanding. A huge well...

A Heartwarming Experience - Felt Just Like Home!

We were a group of 6 Indian friends and had an absolutely amazing experience thanks to Karan’s incredible hospitality. We ordered Dal Makhani, Chole, Paneer Butter Masala along with Tandoori Roti, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Parantha — everything was full of flavor and simply delicious.

Even though we arrived quite late, close to closing time, Karan welcomed us with a warm smile and insisted on accommodating us with no rush at all. His kindness and calm nature truly stood out.

A very special shoutout to Karan’s mom — such a sweet, motherly presence who made us feel like we were having a meal at home. She even made us fresh salted lassi herself, and it was fantastic!

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better vibes. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience.

We walked past Royal Tandoori whilst in the Marina, we noticed Karan and waved and overall the restaurant looked clean, friendly and inviting. The other reviews speak for themselves! Food was amazing with its own special flavour for each dish. The special lamb was second to none and the fish pakora starter tasted fresh from that day - we ordered enough for 4 people but 2 of us finished everything as it tasted incredible - i can't rate it highly enough.

The owners were very nice, accommodating and it felt very homely. Karan spent time speaking with us and we loved his company, it was very warming! So glad we came here on our final night as it would have been unfortunate if we didnt! Highly reccomend for an authentic Indian restaurant for both food and even to just meet the owners themselves - top notch in every aspecr! Had a great evening!...
