El Meson is exactly what a family-run restaurant should be — warm, welcoming, and full of heart. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The owners greeted us with genuine smiles and made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our meal.
The food is simply incredible — hearty, authentic, and clearly made with love. Every dish tasted like a treasured family recipe passed down through generations. We had the house special (highly recommended by our server) and it did not disappoint — packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully plated.
Portions are generous, the prices are fair, and you can really feel the care that goes into every bite. Even the sides were amazing — the homemade tortillas and fresh salsas were the best I’ve ever had.
What really sets El Meson apart is the atmosphere. It’s cozy and full of charm, with little touches that remind you you’re dining somewhere special. It’s the kind of place you want to bring friends and family to share a great meal and good conversation.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re craving delicious, authentic food served with genuine hospitality, El Meson is a must. Five...
Read moreI went to El Mesón and felt really sick afterwards?!? Me and my friend group went last night to this restaurant to grab something to eat. We ordered chipirones (baby squids) and zarzuela. The service was impecabile but the next morning me and another person woke up with severe nausea, vomiting state and severe stomach pain. We vomited and it was clearly the chipirones since we didn't eat anything else that day. Now all of our group has nausea and feel like they're going to throw up. At this point, if we think about it, we blame the chipirones, they were probably kinda old. (that also might explain the saltiness) We sincerely do not...
Read moreLoud circus clown style service was annoying and unappropriate for early dinner. Suits better drunken customets who are there for drinks.
Food was not good. Meson chicken was unprofessionally cut, full of small, sharp bone shards, which made it difficult to eat. Banana split didn't have fried banana, just banana slices. Vegetarian paella was just a base of paella with meat removed. Chicken breast was dry and tasteless. They don't have a chef?
Service was slow due to many "funny" clown shows performed by the waiter. These would be great in a circus, but way over the top in a dinner restaurant.
Good for drinks and drunks. The location is nice. Not a place to eat. There are many better places for...
