In short: disgusting food, incoherent menu and prices, average service

Disgusting food: -Simple recipes such as patatas bravas or huevos rotos taste bad, are not well cooked and lack seasoning -I have serious doubt about the freshness of the meat and all other products -I suspect that they use canned mushrooms -The deserts are obviously not home-made

Incoherent menu and prices -Don’t get trapped by the 13€-meal of the day, the choices you have within are really incoherent (spaghettis as a 1st plate…bacalao with potatoes as a 2nd plate…why?) -It gets very expensive if you order “a la carte” dishes, like 20€ for two dishes (11€ for eggs with mushrooms + 9€ for patatas bravas) -The menu is not clear (some things are available only at nights, other not…)

Service could be much better -The waiters are not that nice

Conclusion: -Message to the customers: go there only for a drink but eat in another place -Message to the staff/boss: please be nicer to the customers, train your cooks, use...

A hidden gem within the town of Segovia. This restaurant has an amazing 10.90€ deal that provides you with free wine (or water), bread, two courses, and dessert. The staff are very friendly and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I ordered the Sopa Castellana and the Solomillo de Cerdo al Rocquefort, which were both delicious. For dessert, I chose the chocolate cake and enjoyed that, but the natillas (a custard) would have been my second choice.

They don't speak too much English here, but with basic phrases in Spanish,...

Situación algo apartada del acueducto, pero muy accesible. Por fuera parece poca cosa, una vez dentro la impresion es difetente, MEJORA, PERO SÍ, ES PEQUEÑO. Para ir al baño hay que hacer cola y hemos comido en una habitacion, muy juntitos, 4 grupos de personas distintos, más de 20 en total. He visto como se iba una pareja, agobiada por esta sensación que trato de explicar. Los camareros son muy jovenes, pero competentes. Me han parecido inexpertos, pues no aconsejan a sus clientes, por ejemplo. No pregunta por si deseamos tomar algo, mientras nos toman nota... Etc. Han tardado en tomarnos nota y no ha habido continuidad entre plato y plato. En cuanto a la comida, MA HA PARECIDO MUY BUENA. Por poner una pega, no recomiendo en un menu de 26€, un primero consistente en una simple ensalada de lechuga, un huevo duro y aceitunas. Por lo demás, las cantidsdes me han parecido adecuadas. Yo he pedido espagueti, cochinillo y tarta de queso. TODO MUY BUENO, especialmente el cochinillo, crugiente por fuera, tierno por dentro, SABEN COCINARLO. Las bebidas son generosas: botella de agua 1.5l, jarra de vino grande si varios quieren vino, etc. Las raciones de pan, adecuadas y con muy buen tipo... Riquísimo! No nos han ofrecido nada a su término, NO ES UNA NECESIDAD, PERO SÍ UN DETALLE. Se puede pagar de diferentes formas, yo he elegido hacerlo por NFC.
