There is an arrogance about this establishment. A while back I went there at three fifteen and upon entering the man seating people said we're closing at four, to which I replied does that mean I cannot enter? He said that means you have to be done by four o'clock. I was with out of town guests that wanted italian or honestly I would have left. Finished Eating by 3:55pm and the restaurant was still full with other people. I had not been back since until tonight.I decided to give them another chance.I went in to order carry out and asked for their caponata, to which I was told they were out...... the restaurant had just opened ten minutes before. I said Okay let's try your pizza Napoli, to which I was told we are out of anchovies. With that, I just looked at him and a man from the kitchen whom I'm assuming is either the owner or part owner yells at me through the kitchen, "That's just the way it is with restaurants. Lots of times they just run out of things." I hadn't said a word other than okay, I won't be having anything else then and left. I won't be giving them...
Read moreThe waitresses, from the moment my family and I arrived, displayed a terrible attitude. It seemed as though they didn't want to work, making faces and comments among themselves. As tourists, we understand that the town of Segovia is focused on tourism. Restaurants, therefore, should have staff trained in hospitality and customer service. It's not just about serving food but also about being kind and courteous to customers, which would reflect better on the establishment and enhance the overall experience.
I cannot recommend this restaurant solely because of the waitresses who were rude, unfriendly, and...
Read moreGood pizza, shocking service/customer service. We tried the one by the aqueduct, there were several tables free. It’s a pizza restaurant - it’s supposed to be fast. Anyway we were just told. ‘No reserved’ no question whether there might be a table later or apology. Nor any offer to call the other branch, which is up by Plaza Mayor. So my partner is vegetarian, Spain is a bit of a nightmare as everything comes with ham, or prawns, so pizza to had to be and we called Da Mario on the Plaza Mayor and made a reservation for 10pm. Steve’s Pizza took 38 mins to arrive. Worse mine to 57, so he had finished his by the time mine arrived.
The pizza was good, not great. Not a wood oven and the toppings made the base soggy. We got a limoncello as apology for the delay. We won’t be...
