Bar Casa Ruperto — Restaurant in Seville

We came here after reading the suggestions of best tapa restaurant provided by the newspaper El Español, and honestly, this place is excellent! Don't let yourself be intimidated by their dated decoration or by those waiters staring at you when you enter into the restaurant. Or by the lack of seating. This restaurant is an authentic experience of delicious, no frills, perfectly cooked tapas. We seriously loved their codornices, the homemaker pringá, and their lomo especial, among various other specialities. Service is nice and professional, and they will guide you and help you to fully enjoy...

We love this place and come here whenever we are in Seville. The bar is simple but has a nice atmosphere. The waiters are busy but friendly, and the food and drinks arrive quickly.

There are a few different options but the roast quail is the star of the show. The meat is so tender, the skin crispy, the seasoning is perfect. I can easily eat 4 or 5 in one visit washed down with some cold beer.

Localización y ambiente Situado en Santa Cecilia, se trata de un bar sencillo, con zona de barra y mesas en el exterior, sin sillas... aquí se viene a tapear de pie. Sin duda, este no es su punto fuerte. Puntuación 2.0.

Cocina La carta se compone de platos tradicionales: montaditos, pinchitos, cabrillas, caracoles... y, sobre todo, los Pájaros... son un MUST imprescindible de este local... no los he comido igual en otro sitio de Sevilla. Cuando hablo de pájaros me refiero a codornices, que hacen con una aliño riquísimo, con un punto de fritura... crujientes por fuera y en su punto por dentro. Aparte de los pájaros solo he probado los caracoles, que no me gustaron. Quedan pendientes las cabrillas que dicen están muy ricas y la hamburguesa con su particular salsa.Aunque sea solo a probar los pájaros hay que venir alguna vez a este sitio. Es lo único que puntúo, dado que apenas he probado nada más. Puntuación 5.0

Bebidas El pájaro se acompaña de una cruzcampo bien fresquita.

Servicio Es casi imposible mayor celeridad al servirte la comanda, parece que se adelantan a tu pensamiento :) Es pedir el pájaro y la cerveza y en nada lo tienes servido, y como eso todo. Son camareros de los de antes, de los de tiza y apuntar en la barra. Eso sí, todo es autoservicio. Puntuación 4.0

Precio El precio está también genial. Cerveza y tapa de pájaro (una codorniz) por unos 3 euros. Puntuación 4.0
