VIPS — Restaurant in Seville

NOT TOURIST FRIENDLY. The whole time felt like we they didn't want to deal with us because we spoke English. We waited at the entrance to be sat as per the sign, waited some time to be seated despite it not being busy and when the server did come to us at the counter he said "Hello" and then turned away from us the second we started to speak. He spoke to another customer that seemed to be Spanish speaking then took off to the back of the restaurant to the kitchen while we stood unsure what was going on. When we ordered I asked for my burger to come without cheese as I'm lactose intolerant but it came with a huge slab of melted cheese on the meat I had to scrape off, the pickle was also missing from the burger and the chips were bland and cold. The server that had seated us at the start had been quite cold with us but anyone else that arrived that spoke Spanish he was smiling and greeting them warmly. Even though all we had done was waited at the counter, asked for a table of 2 and ordered our food, the whole experience just felt like they didn't want to deal with us at all and we left feeling like we had done...

Very desappointed on the experience. First of all, when we came, the glasses were dirty, and when we ask to change them, the waiter brought dirty glasses once again. The service was really long, and one of us waited so long that she was served after all of us had finished (and we waited for her a long time). I don't understand how it was so long since there were nobody in the place. Now I know why we were the only one. The meals were not that good, compared to other VIPS. But the thing that was really inappropriate was that when we told the waiter that we wanted to pay separatly, he blew very hard. On top of that, he was disagreable all the time. I highly NOT recommend this VIPS. If you want to enjoy the restaurant in Seville, I would recommend the one in...

It’s not often that I dine at VIPS but when I do is always a hit or miss. This particular location is large with outdoor and indoor seating.

We went for breakfast and my kids were excited than the decor looked American. They compared with the popular IHOP but with red colors instead of blue.

I was highly surprised that we all enjoyed our meal and the staff was magnificent. Everybody was extremely attentive, kind and welcoming.

I have to say that on of the waitresses, Yuli, was absolutely amazing. You normally don’t find this level of service in Spain but she was incredible with us and the kids. Her energy is unmatchable and her positivity is contagious. Thank you Yuli.
