Whilst on holiday we managed to be very lucky and got to eat here twice, I say this as it is always booked up during peak holiday season and is only a small restaurant. The waitresses are amazing and make you feel so welcome, comfortable and relaxed, they are all so good at there job, I would say if you tip please tip them in cash as if you tip on card they do not get the tip (which would be one of my only complaints, luckily I always carry a bit of cash for such occasions). Even remembering us on the second occasion we got to eat there even though we had only been once before. The chef and kitchen staff are exceptional at what they create, the food is just so authentic, flavourful, beautiful to look at and of course delicious. I think myself and my family got the try most of the menu and we were all very happy with our choices, all of us saying we will definitely go back again. Also I have a family member who is Central American and they also agreed that the food was very authentic, so I think we as a family have tried lots of Latino food so we are able to say it’s so delectable. I definitely recommend you go and try this restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for being so good at what you do. P.s I wish I had taken more photos of the food. The pork belly tacos were a favourite for myself...
Read moreMy fave Mexican restaurant anywhere in the world in one of my fave cities, Sitges. We are two vegans, one of whom is a coeliac and to be able to dine out straight from the menu without having to rewrite it is in itself a dining experience we rarely get to enjoy. But that’s only the half of it because when the dishes arrive they are so stunningly good that it’s easy to forget this is their everyday offering for all punters. Suffice to say we have been back two days in a row and we will be there again tomorrow. Weekdays there is a meal deal ( cant remember the Spanish term used, sorry!) that included a starter and main , desert and a drink for €18. We kicked off with the vegan quesadillas followed by the mushroom tacos and then vegan cheesecake, the latter we took home, with a mineral water to wash it all down. A beer was tempting but on a three day detox ha ha. Today we shared a bravas and loaded nachos. With three drinks for a grand total of €34. We cancelled the tacos we had ordered due to the serving sizes of the Nachos. BIG! Previously my fave vegan Mexican food was to be found at Gracias Madre in LA but while this little restaurant might lack the beauty and grandeur or GM in more than makes up for it with the beautiful food, amazing waiters and chill...
Read moreDelicious food, lovely service and a great value with menu of the day. Right off the busy main street of old town on a charming side street. It has a couple if outside/street tables and 8 or so inside. Small but doesn't feel crowded. Rustic simple but cheery vibe. Loved it so much I went back the next day! I had nachos with guacamole for my primero, fresh crunchy home made nachos with smooth tasty guacamole and pico de gallo. Enjoyed a Modelo with my main course of 3 pulled pork tacos and finished off with a homemade warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. All delicious and all for under €15. My friend had the eggplant tacos and Banofi for dessert which were also delicious. The following day I had the chicken tinga quesadilla. Loved it! And the roasted cauliflower bowl with guacamole, rice, beans, etc. Also good. I tried the margarita which is perfect for you purist but I like mine a bit sweeter. The lovely owner Gemma says she'll be glad to make a little sweeter next time. There will definitely be many...
