Massimo Ristorante pizzería Napoletana — Restaurant in Sitges

So, food was awesome indeed and we enjoyed every bite. The hosts were nice and provided good service. However… we were 6 people, ordered LOTS of food and drinks and stayed in the restaurant for dinner for 2 hours. Obviously that was something extremely wrong because there was a reservation after us and they waited for our spots. We never knew that but we wondered why are there angry people right across the street and they look at us as if we have ruined their life…Then the lady comes with the bill and basically politely inviting us to leave. Very unpleasant. We felt unwanted and how can 6 people feed themselves for just an hour and also we waited for some dishes too so it wasn’t exactly only our fault that the other people were waiting for the table. This is not a hate comment and we truly loved the food and atmosphere. But the end left a bitter taste in our mouths. Enjoying your desert and seeing angry people because you allowed yourself to sit somewhere and enjoy your family...

Very happy with my experience at Massimo. It was highly suggested that we reserved ahead of time, but I showed up at the opening and the restaurant wasn’t full, so I was able to sit outside. I got the bucatini pasta - cacio e pepe - with which I asked the waiter to suggest me a glass of white wine that would go along well with my food. He didn’t disappoint. The pepper was stronger than what I’m used to, but good nonetheless. I finished with the tiramisu which was out of this world. I was also lucky to get to speak with the co-owner Sofia who was the tiramisu maker in flesh. She is super sweet and also speaks French. As a French speaker on vacation, I was happy to talk with her in my native language. I would return to their restaurant and I highly...

Needed to find a nice place to eat as a solo traveller and had passed Massimo so thought I'd try ..no probs getting a table tho it was early for locals (around 8)..menu was the scan app but I don't have roaming so asked for a physical menu ..nice choice ordered a tuna salad starter and Daviola pizza..the Salad was huge ..for me. It should have been half the size half the price and the waiter did ask if it was my starter .. but it was fresh crisp salad and tasty..the Pizza was nice. I have had spicier ones so added chilli oil..would I have the same one again ..maybe not I would try some of the others which looked great. bottle of water and the bill 30 Euros ... Tad high but Sitges isn't a cheap destination ... Pleasant staff and...
