Such a frustrating experience. We came here with a group of 6 and were given two separate tables, so we couldn’t even sit together and talk properly. It’s the first time in my experience something like this happens. The reason for it according to our waiter was the rain. It was strange we were not told about such a sitting layout before since it was raining the whole day and there was no possibility for a dry weather at all. Ok, we decided to stay. Then we waited 25 minutes to get a menu. We asked for it twice (we had to walk under rain to the main restaurant building to see the waiter, because he wouldn’t approach us during this whole time). When we finally got a menu the waiter pointed out that they only had 10 menus printed (but wanted to accommodate more guests). He pointed out that they were already doing us a favour by accommodating us there. However, after we asked (absolutely calmly and politely) how long he thought it would take for the food to be ready he got rather emotional. In a rather angry tone he told us to be happy they accepted us at all, that he didn’t like our questions and that if we don’t like something we are welcome to leave. So, we left without saying anything, which made him even angrier, so he added that he found our behaviour totally disrespectful. To be honest, I have never experienced any kind of such an abusive treatment in a restaurant and I find it absolutely unacceptable. They gave our reservation to another group just because they were a bigger group (we were a group of 6 and they were 10) although we made the reservation earlier and they confirmed it. Then they tried to put us in a weird place far from the restaurant. We have to wait for 25 minutes to even get a menu and this frustrated waiter's excuse was "we only have 10 menu cards"😂 like why the hell do you accommodate so many tables if you really have only 10 menus printed?🤦 Then we kindly asked if we have to wait so long to order our food and he said yes you will wait in a very rude way and told us leave now if you don't like it, out of blue. Obviously we said then we will leave after such a rude treatment and he totally lost his temper. He was screaming, how can we dare to cancel our reservation although he was the one bluffing obviously by asking us to leave. I guess he is naive enough to think that customers would accommodate such disrespectful behavior🤦. I highly recommend the owner to fire this disrespectful waiter. We dined here before and service was good with the owner. But the second time with this short annoying looking guy, it was terrible. We had reserved a table for two as a couple, but upon arrival, the waiter told us we couldn't sit at a two-person table outside because it was "reserved" — as if we hadn’t made a reservation ourselves. Instead, we were shown to a table next to the kitchen and the toilet.
That outdoor table remained empty throughout our meal, and no one made any effort to move us or even acknowledge our visible disappointment. Later, while we were still waiting for our main dishes, another couple arrived and asked to sit at that same outdoor table. The staff initially gave them the same excuse — that it was reserved — but after they complained repeatedly, the waiter seated them there without any explanation to us, even though we had arrived at least an hour earlier.
