We went here because of the great reviews and were really disappointed. We had the lobster paella, cod fish, grilled squid and a salad. The paella was not properly cooked, such that the rice grains were still raw (you can see it in the pictures - it didn’t soak up the juices and the paella is watery). We pointed it out and the waiter responded nicely and took it back to the kitchen to cook it for longer. When it came back the rice was still slightly undercooked, but now the lobster and seafood on top were completely overcooked and dry unfortunately. Putting the texture aside the taste itself was watery and not rich in seafood flavor. The grilled squid had a nice charcoal flavor but didn’t taste fresh and was slightly undercooked. The cod fish was ok though had so much toppings, the fish didn’t shine through. The staff seemed nice though we didn’t got the table side serving service for the paella in comparison to the other tables, which was weird in hindsight.

Sadly though our experience of the food was bad. We had tapas. This was our last meal on our holiday and we were disappointed after having some other amazing tapas meals by the port. We don’t fully understand the number of 5 star reviews but perhaps it is a place for locals? But very odd as this is definitely not 4.6 for tapas. Pictures do look good of some other dishes though. The food was not all fresh and some of it was barely warm. Luke warm tuna croquettes (no choice in the option on the menu, and a very odd croquette type at that). These were not fresh and not edible for us. We had concerns about eating the dry and unappealing muscles. The potatas bravas sauce was not to our liking or expectation it was more of a curry type of sauce. Sorry to say that this is not good food to eat in at Port de Soller as there are so many amazing restaurants by the port. For the tapas in port de soller this has...
Read moreThis was such a nice restaurant and we had the best evening here at Port de Sollér! It is not directly at the port but around the corner and I would recommend to reserve a table in advance because we were really lucky to get a table without a reservation, but everything else was booked. The owner and the waiters are very nice and attentive and they fulfill all your wishes. We had the bread (very fresh and warm), olives and a delicious aioli as a starter, followed up by a vegetarian paella and my boyfriend also had some garlic prawns. It was very delicious and fresh. The drinks were also very nice, especially the wine. It is a homey atmosphere and if you want to expierence an authentic spanish dinner, you should definitely come here! The prices are also more than justified and are not expensive at all for what...
