Airecel Restaurant — Restaurant in Sóller

I contacted the restaurant staff in advance of my holidays because I planned on proposing to my girlfriend. The reservation online worked perfectly and super quick, and the staff was well prepared for us.

With my now fiancée I came here, was led to a quiet and wonderfully romantic table in a corner of the outside area and was seated and served immediately.

Without her realizing anything because of everyone being so discrete, they made us have a dinner like we were some kind of VIPs. The staff was always attentive, we were never waiting long for a waiter, but still had the feeling of being super intimate and private.

The dinner and especially the wine, too, were outstanding and delicious, and honestly for that service, show and quality, the prize was more than just fair.

For the wine, we always asked for something local, describing what we liked in taste, and the competent waiter immediately had the perfect answer out of a large selection, and for the main course we had the paella as the speciality of the day after some appetizers.

We will definitely come back here, because this place has a special meaning for us and we had one of the best dinners in our lifetime, but even that let aside, I cannot recommend the fish and wine and service and this place enough.

I really wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews it has. Unfortunately I can't really rate it higher than a 3/5. It's the restaurant for a hotel which is away from the main strip, so a plus of you are looking for somewhere quiet but to be honest it just lacked atmosphere. The staff were polite, but the service was very very slow. We are used to chilled service being in Mallorca, but the food took ages and we didn't get our drinks until we had already finished the main course. They did end up giving us the drinks on the house, which was good of them given that we had to chase them up twice. The food was average, although the portions were massive (too big tbh, I should've just had one course). I ordered the chorizo starter, which was nice but it was so salty! After a few bites I could barely taste it anymore there was so much salt. My main course was ravioli and it was not good. Very oily and grainy which I didn't enjoy. My friend ordered prawns but they were undercooked so she couldn't eat them. Others at the table had the beef (which was nice) and croquettes. Absolutely Perfect – A Hidden Gem in Mallorca!
