We found this gem on our last night. We had the mixed kebab, and it was amazing we couldn't eat it quick enough. The 3 meats were mouthwatering with a delicious salad and fresh pitta bread. Definitely, without doubt, the best kebab on the island. Staff are so friendly and good prices all round. We will definitely recommend it and will be going back.
Update to this review after visiting 23 Oct 2022 - we arrived just before 10.30 to be rudely told that we could only have takeaway after 10 30 we arrived before, had the menu given to use with a filthy look off the waitress. I ordered straight away I knew what I wanted for me and my daughter so not to delay anyone, I'd ordered a beer my daughter a soft drink other people entered and order drinks so no problem, then the food arrived in a takeaway box which was thrown on the table, so I took it out and we ate out of the boxes on the table and after seeing we weren't going to leave the waitress finally brought over the cutlery and condiments. I was surprised by the way we were treated as my daughter is only 8 it was late we hadn't eaten and we were looking forward to it but waitress and other staffs attitude was disgraceful and tried to make us uncomfortable for ordering food. So overall I've had ro change my review on my experience here. In my opinion if you close at 11 then you serve your customers up until that time, then you clean and sort the place out. Might pass it by next time and spend my...
Read moreTried sitting inside to get out of the heat but the only table spare was by the spit. So had to sit outside.... Not their fault though, just painting the picture! So sat outside with the sun bouncing off my head and neck. Only had about an hour odd spare before going on an excursion and went for breakfast and goofy burger looked like they did a decent burger. Sat down and ordered drinks and a full English. Got the drinks after 5 mins, 20 mins later noticed everyone else had been given food even the ones that arrived after us. So asked how long it will be, was told it's nearly ready. Waited another 15 mins and again asked if it's coming as we had been waiting 40 mins (and only really had 20 mins left to head back for pick up) again told it's nearly ready. Waited another 10 mins then went up to the bar area to ask what was going on, for the cook to say she hasn't been given the order - the slip was on the bar next to a pile of other orders but because it hadn't been put on the pile, the order hadn't been started. So paid for the drinks and left. Really poor service, either time of being told "nearly ready" they should have at least checked on it. Left hungry! Pity too as the breakfast actually looked decent - on the...
Read moreMy recent visit to Goofy Burger, representing the Grand Vizier, left me feeling like I had stepped into a cartoon – and not in a good way. It was as if Goofy himself had designed the menu, with results that were, well, 'goofy' in the worst sense.
The burger they presented me with seemed like something out of a cartoon kitchen, dripping with more grease than a slippery slide. The meat was cooked to a level of toughness that even Goofy's laugh couldn't match, and the bun... let's just say it was more 'goofy' than a classic Disney mix-up.
Even the fries couldn't escape the 'goofy' treatment, arriving undercooked and about as crispy as Goofy's classic laugh. As an emissary of the Grand Vizier, I must say that this experience was far from a Mickey Mouse affair.
So, Goofy Burger, if you're going to name yourselves after Disney's lovable character, please step up your game. The Grand Vizier's emissary deserves better than a meal fit...
