I ordered a glass of Sangria. I got a glass, supposed to be Sangria, but filled with a lemon cut into about 10 sections, no fruit of any sort, and with a dreadful bitter taste. I approached the bar and told the server, but he merely indicated he didnt prepare it, only someone else who had finished their shift. 3 other members of staff were behind the counter and they had a good laugh amongst themselves, in front of me. Came down and popped in this bar for a drink and a bite to eat, the first waiter was great, the second one needs to think about his job. My niece who is one year old dropped a bit of garlic bread and a few chips which had gone un-noticed you know like a baby does . He the proceeded to slag the family off to everyone in the bar saying, "imagine what their house is like" and grunting around. A lot of research went into finding this gem of an establishment as time was short and we did not want to waste time being ripped off and disappointed on our short Lanzarote holiday. The moment that you arrive at The Golden Corner you are made to feel warm and welcome by the staff that are quite obviously at the top of their game.
