We loved going to volcano. But this was the last time.
1: the staff are really bad. They almost look annoyed if you want to order a drink or a dessert. They are extremely slow, they walk past the table several times not even looking. While the restaurant was not busy.
2: they don’t know how to serve the chateaubriand. One person of our party wanted the filetsteak but was talked into also taking the chateaubriand. So the normal 2 person portion was now divided for three persons (?) We have had the chateau before at volcano, but this portion was a lot smaller. So they have divided it for three persons.
Also the guy serving it had no idea what he was doing, he seemed stressed out the entire time and kept on asking for help.
3: the crew is extremely bad at English. We asked if there was milk in the icecream, because of allergies of one person. They had no clue and he was just making stuff up, it made no sense, so we decided not to get him a dessert.
4: we ordered two cappuccino they they only brought one.
We loved this place, but our waiter was very bad, we feel tricked by the chateaubriand
The overal hospitality was very poor
I would suggest to put have a manager with good sense for hospitality hire proper crew and train them properly, if the owner reads this and sees revenue go down, this is why it is. We, and our friends won’t be...
Read moreIt took us a few days to try the Restaurant Volcano. We had a lunch first, it was absolutely delicious, so we booked a table for our evening meal. We usually tried various restaurants, but the food was so delicious and there was a wide verity to choose from, we visited every night for our evening meal. The staff were fantastic , each and every one. They were very friendly, liked to have fun with their customers and made your dining experience extremely memorable. Though unfortunately we didn't manage to get all the names of the staff. There was Lin, he was a lovely young man, always a lovely greeting and so willing to help. Frank, he again was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the food and really helpful to make sure your food was the way you would enjoy. We don't eat onions and the staff made sure , our food was prepared without onions, they remembered every night. Then there was Jesus, he was really lovely. He attempted to teach and converse in Spanish, to know avail. All the rest of the staff, which unfortunately I don't have their names were all extremely nice, helpful and...
Read moreHello, we ate at the restaurant today. We had a pizza and a burger menu. The staff was very friendly and we were impressed at first. Unfortunately, a dish we thought was vegetarian (which a waiter assured us it was) turned out not to be vegetarian. The pizza was okay once we picked the salami off of it. We were most disappointed that the waiter, who asurred us it was vegetarian, saw us picking salami off our pizza and seemed to ignore use as he looked ashamed instead of apologizing. The burger was bland in taste and had a mushy texture. The fries were not salted or seasoned at all as far as we could tell. I understand that the restaurant is created to cater to the taste of British people and maybe that was the reason why we as Germans did not enjoy the food (at least not for the price), but we were disappointed nonetheless. In any case, we unfortunately did not enjoy out stay and can therfore not recommend...
