The only problem with this place is that if you don't come early you may find yourself standing for a table. This place is busy and popular, and once we discovered it we tried almost every plate on the menu. So I recommend almost everything and arriving early as coming during main breakfast time and Lunch periods can become packed quickly. The only thing I didn't like from the vast menu choices was the English Breakfast. It wasn't that they were bad, just ok and Wifey thought it was a little lacking for the price. But you can get a fried breakfast anywhere else on the strip. You shouldn't come here for an English breakfast. Or the American. But the other plates are what makes this place, the dishes are exquisitely prepped and a beauty to look at. This place makes good pictures and while I am more of a taste man, I was impressed with the extra care taken to the style and theme on the plates. I tried a few of the power juices, not really my thing but didn't hate them. Of course they are healthy so didn't have much sugar. I tried the Volcan Burger, and it was delicious. One of the best on the island. The black bun is a novelty colour, but didn't have much of a charcoal taste to it. We tried the Beef Taco to share, which was also good with a sweet pickle taste that really added a flavoured punch. Wifey tried the Crispy Chicken salad. The inclusion of dates really added to this plate for a extra special chicken salad. The toasts, and we tried a few are also winners. The pulled pork Benedict muffin version is all great and you will be happy with yours. The Acal Bowl was also nice. It's hard to order a fruit bowl among so many great choices, but I am glad I tried it. The inclusion of peanut butter really made the dish. Worth the visit! The wifey and I highly...

Fantastic Brunch Spot with Great Atmosphere

I had the pleasure of visiting Kalma Café & Brunch during my stay in Lanzarote, and it was a delightful experience! The café offers a varied menu with plenty of healthy options, including vegan dishes, smoothies, and beautifully crafted toasts. I tried their avocado toast and a refreshing smoothie bowl, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and visually stunning.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a modern yet relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect during our visit. The café’s location is another highlight – it offers a lovely view of the sea, which adds to the overall charm of the place.

While the food was excellent, I did notice that service was a bit slow due to the café being quite busy, but the quality of the food and the ambiance more than made up for it.

If you’re looking for a fantastic brunch spot in Lanzarote, I highly recommend Kalma Café & Brunch. It’s a must-visit for anyone who enjoys good food and a...

Kalma Cafe located in Puerto Del Carmen is certainly a hidden gem and brilliant place for lunch.

There is a widely accessible menu that includes, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. In particular, there is a great selection of smoothies, juices, soft drinks and alcohol. This menu is able to be viewed online via their website prior to visiting.

I've visited multiple times and had avocado on sourdough bread with salmon, eggs benedict and pancakes. I enjoyed the consistency knowing that every time I'd visit, the meals would be of high quality.

The staff are very friendly and are proficient in English for non-Spanish speakers.

It can be busy however I never had to wait for a table and it's about a ten minute wait for food.

The price is about €10-20 euros a person which is a relatively good price in comparison to places of a similar nature.

I look forward to coming here again on my...

Lovely find at the top of the old town. We were recommended by a local running friend after "Parkrun!" We had been having breakfast in our villa but decided to eat out for a change. So glad we did. We managed to get a table with a view (although this place os by a busy main road, you can still get a view of the sea) The staff were young and trendy and so was most of the clientele, including plenty of locals. My wife loved the full healthy yogurt and fruit bowl. Which was very nicely presented and tasty. I opted for a Eggs Benedict, which was ok, nothing special, but still well presented. service was quick and efficient. The menu is simple yet full of good options, with plenty of healthy meals to choose from. overall a pleasant experience, which made us return on our last day.
