A stunning and intimate little bar/restaurant overlooking the beautiful Los Pocillos Bay. A relatively new addition to the locale, we first sampled drinks and cocktails a couple of weeks ago, and being residents, we vowed to return to sample the food on offer... Boy oh boy are we glad we did... Being a Monday evening, currently there is a restricted 'Bar' light bites menu available on both Mondays and Tuesdays. We opted for the smaller sharing 'Antipasti Board', the Salmon and Chilli Croquettes, the Fried Spicy Chorizo and the Olive, Feta and Artichoke bowl... We also shared a portion of Aubergine Crisps... The food was beautifully presented and upon tasting, it was quickly apparent the the ingredients were of the highest standards... We all commented on the outstanding quality of all the dishes and we have made a pact to return on a weekend evening to sample the Main Menu, which looks superb with some stunning dishes. I have to also mention the ambience of the place which is tastefully presented and the wonderful atmosphere is without doubt down to the welcoming, warm, friendly and thoroughly professional staff from bar, waiting and kitchen alike... Top marks to Conway and the team and best wishes for the future... Highly recommended for residents and...
Read moreWhere to start. The welcome was fantastic, we started with 4 cocktails, all magnificently crafted by the young cocktail maker. Her attention to detail ensured that these were some of the best cocktails we've ever had. Certainly the best in Lanzarote! We opted to try the swordfish cerviche and we were not disappointed. Light, tasty and thinly sliced it was perfect, alongside 2 other starters the home feta, olives and artichokes and the homemade cod, mustard, parsely croquettes (which were cooked at the perfect temperature to stop any unnecessary fat) we couldnt have been happier. Onto the mains we had fish of the day, duck tacos, duck breast and beef medallions. The flavours of the sauces and the cooking of everything was just excellent. We also had a love panacotta for a birthday pudding for my mother. This place is showing that Lanzarote has real high quality gourmet good. I rate this place 6 star. It was that simply that good. There are few and far between in Lanzarote and I would suggest for the food and service alone this is a top 10 place in Lanzarote nevermind the view. Keep pushing and trying more and more things as I dont think you guys can go...
Read moreFabulous late afternoon/early evening at this different Tapas bar. We were welcomed into the bar by Michael, which explained the drinks and food menus. We chose from cocktails, strawberry daiquiri and Smokey Davey Jones.... and then went for the tapas...... croquettes, ham bruschetta (not doing it justice with that description), pork belly and the cauliflower satay..... washed down with a bottle of house dry white. We finished with a shared rhubarb crumble, with berries and ice cream. Very different food..... in a good way. Croquettes were fresh, tasty with spinach and properly crispy. The Satay was something else, good level of spice if a little salty for our taste.....the pork belly was to die for - two sauces and mash. Had plenty of tapas around Spain and Europe.... this suited our pallets beautifully..... fresh, clean and beautifully presented. Well done. We would recommend and will be back. .... ladies and or gentlemen.... if you like, they also do cocktail Masterclasses. These seem to be very popular as the mixologist is 'chiseled ' as was...
