Wanaka — Restaurant in Tarifa

I can understand that sometimes people have a bad experience. They can and should write about it. So the restaurant can make adjustments. We stopped by accident in front of it. Looked it up and it had a good rating. So as a family we decided to try it. For drinks standard beer, wine and sparkling water no special drinks. Can’t rate them for it. The person serving us was very nice, happy and fast service. I liked the atmosphere, small cozy by a tree build in the deck. Not too packed! For food I had the chicken curry wrap. First time I got a curry that actually had flavor that had been cooked for some time for the spices to properly blend so as not be too grainy. So that was good. The small salad on the side was a nice addition. Also the fried potatoes seemed hand cut with a tasty dip. My wife had the burger and she likes it medium. The cook did a nice job with that as well. My daughter had a veggie burger also nice blend of ingredients and good texture. My other daughter had a bowl of fruit. We all walked away happy and satisfied. If I’m in town I would come back here for sure. I gave it a 5 star all around because for us it worked out perfectly and each dish...

Just wanted to let this review adjusted to their reality.

Food is amazing, quality, quantity and price wise. No questions.

But, I feel sorry for them, they can’t provide the “minimum” nice service as a server, they are basically order takers because they need support/hands/heads to reach out/greet people and provide a great experience since the get to the main door.

I gotta say that I have been 4 times in 3 days, twice same day. So it’s worth it still 100%.

Jesus, first time was super cool and helpful recommending. But rushing from the bar, serving tables, greeting people.. it’s a lot.

Lela is nice and helpful, but same thing.. frustrated, you can see their faces.

Anyway, go and try their delicious and lovely food. Paqui one of the chefs, she’s adorable and sweet, and creates the best brunch in Town.

We are regular visitors of the Tarfia area (From Los Lances all the way to Bolonia) and have camped many times in the areas and always try to go to new places to eat and or drink, we ended up at Wanaka just by impulse decision after looking to eat at one of the beach restaurants we know but with a dog and baby in tow it was not easy to find somewhere that fit for a nice easy place to eat in the shade and have a nice meal. When we arrived the staff were very kind and helpful as well as fast in service, we placed our order fairly quickly which was the Pastella, falafel and a lovely salad (sorry I can't remember exact names nor have photos) all of which was lovely and tasted perfectly!
