Great lunch spot We ate here as was recommended by the New York Times. Lunch was as described in the article - leisurely and well prepared. I had a price fixed Lunch starting with a salad with walnut / berries and a rich reduced balsamic vinegarette dressing. Followed by fried pork with a Roquefort sauce that was perfect - not too heavy along with rice. Ended with a flan. Included was a lovely glass of house red for....~15 euros per person. We ate outside on the plaza (which 2000 years ago was a roman chariot race course) and enjoyed the sun, the light crowds and the many ruins asking ourselves why would we leave. All of the dishes (we´ve had Tortilla, Salad with goat cheese, ham, grill plate for 2, Eggplant and goat cheese, and some desserts) were modern, tasty and of quality. At our second visit we were recognized again by Agustina, and got the english menu automatically.

Is true that was a crowded evening (during Tarragona carnaval 2019) which could make the food and service not so so ⬇️.
