Buga Ramen Tarragona — Restaurant in Tarragona

What a fun place! The atmosphere and music really do set the tone. You can't sit in Buga and not be happy. I love a good ramen and we stopped in based on the Google Reviews. We ordered gyoza and spring rolls to start. The gyoza was light and fresh and absolutely delicious. I could have just had 3 or 4 orders of that and been perfectly happy. I love spicy so Tan Tan Ramen is always a go to dish for me. This one was solid. I would have liked for the broth to be a bit spicier, but after having lived in Spain for some time now, I've come to understand that almost all restaurants lower their "spicy" levels to accommodate the Spanish palate. The noodles had great texture and the portion was plentiful. My one disappointment was that the ramen egg was way overcooked. Had it not been for that, I would have given a 5 rating across the board. It may seem picky, but the egg is such a big element that it really can make or break a ramen dish for me. We won't have the chance to come back to Tarragona for some time, but when we do, I'd be willing to give Buga another go. The menu has lots of ramen variations that I'd like to try and tons of other options that provide a little something...

Looking at reviews on buga ramen we decided to try there, the whole experience bar actually giving us the bill was rushed, the pork dumplings were nice, my sons chicken wings were way over priced 4.80 euro for 2 wings, wow, we were still eating the starters and the mains arrived, chicken had all fat on it, left half and the bowl of soup on the side, I've no idea what that actually was, just looked like water, this restaurant had a rating of 4.6 when we went, we've no idea how, the inside is quirky, lots of Japanese anime on display, very disappointing, not...

Great spot with a great atmosphere. Love the Anime/Manga theme and the food does not disappoint either. They were very accommodating for a late night visit. The ramen bowls are filling and flavorful. NOTE: you can get either the pork broth or vegan broth for none piggy-eaters! The karaage and Gyoza were great too. The staff is awesome and provide service...
