Fist time eating at this restaurant despite having been to Costa Teguise on 5 occasions , and kinda missed out as the food was very good, we had a couple of starters , garlic mushrooms and Garlic prawns, followed by a traditional mixed seafood paella. The food was piping hot , good portion sizes and in my opinion very authentic with a good amount of fish in the paella clearly freshly cooked, I have seen a lot of reviews saying there food is microwaved I find that hard to believe from my experience! I have lived on main land Spanish costa de Sol for many years and can honestly say the food served here is very authentic and very traditional this was probably the best paella I have had since leaving Spain 12 years ago ! The staff we very attentive and chatty which made for a great dining experience will definitely come back ! Thanks

Last night, we enjoyed an absolutely wonderful dinner at Restaurante La Chimenea. The food was incredibly fresh, refreshing, and full of flavour, and the service was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive. We sat outside, soaking in the lively atmosphere while performances took place on the Playa, enjoying both the music and our delicious meal. To our delight, the team surprised us with complimentary drinks and fresh fruit at the end. We also had the pleasure of meeting their talented chef 👨‍🍳. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes—definitely better value than many other places we’ve tried. We’ll certainly be coming back again before the holiday is over!

Probably the most disappointing dining experience all week. I ordered the salmon la chimenea, and while it was certainly adequate, it did look, and taste, rather as though it was a frozen dish which had been reheated and put on a plate with chips and salad. I then opted for the Oreo cheesecake for dessert which, surprisingly, arrived hot. Again, despite advertising homemade desserts, I presume it was a frozen dessert which had been microwaved on a heat setting, rather than defrost. Staff were pretty inattentive too. There are definitely better places to eat in the locality.

I would love to have given 5 stars. The food was really lovely and reasonably priced. We got off to a good start with an attentive waiter bringing our drinks and taking our orders. Starters served promptly and delicious. Main course arrived without delay and was really excellent. We decided on a pud and this was the point we became invisible. The staff have customer avoidence down to a fine art. No amount of staring, heckling or gesturing would get the waiters attention. Eventually we managed to lassoo a waiter who brought the desert menu. Unfortunately he didn't return to take the order. We did manage to rugby tackle another and we eventually received the of which was really nice. The same problems arose when trying to get the bill. I had to stand up and stop a waiter from speeding off. It's a shame, couldn't fault the food but waiters are...

Been here for a week and we can honestly say it's the worst meal we have ever been served! I ordered garlic bread with cheese and tomato and a pizza, my husband ordered mushrooms stuffed with ham and cheese gratin and 3 Kings meal - slice of streak, pork and chicken with sauces, salad and chips. My starter was 2 small slices of a baguette, bit of chopped tomato and a SLICE OF PLASTIC CHEESE cut in half over the top. Husband's mushrooms were couple of bits of chopped ham and again slice of plastic cheese cut in 4 squares and sat on top of the mushrooms. Our main course was brought out at the same time as the starter. They took it back in and brought it out later but it was cold and the sauces where congealed. Husband sent his back and they microwaved it - including the salad. Definitely won't be...
