Wok Santa Rosa — Restaurant in Teguise

5th day on holiday and visited for dinner after being in sea watching Sunset & Dolphin tour. WOK, the taste was simply mouth-watering! The selection, the layout, each station perfectly layed out without having to wait in line to reach a specific item. The seafood and fresh non-veg section was amazing and cooked on the spot for that fresh taste! Layered on ice was Mussels, ribs, oyster, lamb chops, salmon, squids, clam, various fishes/chickens, different sized prawns and loads more that I can go on! Create your own stir fry station with loads of fresh vegs too. All of which you choose, plate, tag with your table number keyring and leave at chef. Then once cooked the staff bring it to your table. Cool idea so in the meantime you can enjoy the ready-made food. Thats just the 3 stations so far but the rest, sushi, noodles, rice, curries, fried food section, like defo spoilt for choices in this buffet and A MUST DINE IN for that original Asian taste! Just don't stand there wondering where to start coz you might just hold up the hungry traffic of people! Also not to forget the dessert station! Chocolate fountain, sweets, icecream fridge filled with 7 different flavours, fresh fruits, yogurts, variety of cakes, cream and jelly... Sweet rush for sure!! The staff were all well mannered, polite, smiling, conversing, well dressed and helpful! Constantly moving around serving and cleaning all at the same time. The atmosphere was calm with dim lighting but busy with hungry customers as all you can hear is their cutlery beating the plates. I visited on Saturday and was charged 16.95€ per adult (10+) and drinks cost varied. This place would have been a family favourite had I not been a UK citizen! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND...

We visited as a couple twice, once for an evening meal and again for lunch. Both times everything was available. The Chinese food is no different to a traditional buffet in the UK. What is unique is the wok option which is inclusive in the cost.

Pick your own stir fry veg, meat or fish and drop it off for cooking with your choice of sauce. This was tasty. The beef was average but I imagine the chicken would be a better option. The fish selection was exceptional. Clams, mussels, razor clams, a selection of prawns, salmon and squid. I had squid which was tasty and seemed fresh. Other meat was available such as lamb chops.

What stood out to us and was the reason for our return was the sushi. Truly amazing, fresh and tasty. Lots of variety including salmon sashimi, California rolls etc.

We'd return solely for the sushi 🍣.

Dinner was €16.95 and lunch €15.95 per person.

One constructive point was when we were there for lunch, staff ate their lunch whilst playing loud videos on their mobile phones which impacted...

We chose this place ,as it was my 14 year olds birthday and he loves a good Chinese... Wasn't sure what to expect??? I always have When eating this type of food in Spain...But I was very much surprised, I thought it was very good and especially if you like seafood...first of all you've got the usual buffet side , plenty to chose from and it all looked good ...on the other side was a whole ice tray of fresh fish , large prawns , lots of different shell fish also ( can't say if it was fresh )... Then there was a fresh noodle side , we're you can add prawns , beef or chicken ( or all 3)..As well as vegetables...then take it to the counter where there's a selection of different sauces to choose from ..you leave your plate by the sauce you want ( or just plain) with a tag of your table number and they will bring this to your table when cooked..The same can be done with the seafoo ..There is also fresh steaks and chops to choose from ..Had a great meal both times .. would...
