FR O'Malleys — Restaurant in Torremolinos

After my friend & I enjoying a nice meal I went to pay & was told CASH ONLY. We were not made aware of this when we were shown to a table by the owner. There was NO sign outside & no indication on the menu of cash only. I was paying for my friend & I as my treat but did not have any cash on me which was very embarrassing in front of my friend. My friend ended up having to pay as she had some cash. Everywhere we have eaten in this area we have always had the choice to pay by cash or card. If we had been made aware of cash only when we were seated or before we would have politely left knowing I could only pay by cash. When I spoke to the owner & asked why he did not tell his customers or have a sign that he only took cash he had no acceptable answer other than to tell me to get cash from the machine across the road which of course would have occurred cost to me. This restaurant owner is running his business very unprofessional for a reason unbeknown to me therefore I could not recommend...

After 30 hours of travel and little sleep, we just needed sustainance. By chance we walked by this establishment and did a quick check noticed it was full. Small place, but we got a table outside. Yeah, we are Canadian and could not quite understand the patio heater, but I digress..lol Gentleman that served us was great! Funny and helpful! Had ribs and fish and chips. Both were great! Not the way I make ribs, but tender and tasty! The chips are to die for. So good in a UK fashion!

Went for the full irish breakfast this-morning. We all know when abroad it can be tough finding a place with nice sausages and pudding. But we did well finding this spot with its Tasty breakfast. Food was good especially the pudding. Would have liked brown bread instead of toast . But in fairness I never asked if they had any. All-round clean table and a healthy flow of customers coming and going. If your in the mood for a nice breakfast then you can't go too wrong in...
