iller Café — Restaurant in Torremolinos

5 Stars -it must be really good, right? Well I am happy to report that it really does live up to its reputation! The food was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Had both the salmon and egg toast with a cappuccino. You could definitely see the care and skill that was put into thepresentation and preparation. Would I come back? Hell yeah! Be back tomorrow!! Great job to the owners, definitely bringing...

¿Alguna vez entras a un sitio sin esperar gran cosa y sales queriendo tatuarte el logo en el brazo? Pues eso me pasó con Illa. Una cafetería chiquita, discreta, pero con el alma más grande que muchos brunch hipsters de Madrid.

Llegué tarde (bueno, tarde para ellos, que cierran a la 1 porque claramente son demasiado cool para abrir por la tarde), y aún así me sirvieron un desayuno que parecía escrito por los dioses del café y el salmón.

El café: intenso, redondo, perfecto. La tostada de salmón: lloro solo de recordarla. Pan crujiente, salmón de verdad (nada de ese triste loncheado de gasolinera), y una presentación que merecía aplausos.

¿El precio? Unos 8€ por café y tostada. No es el sitio más barato, pero tampoco lo quieres para eso. Lo quieres porque tiene encanto, mimo, y porque todo lo que hacen, lo hacen bien. Como cuando encuentras una joya escondida y luego no quieres contárselo a nadie por si te la estropean.

¿Lo recomiendo? Sí. Pero corre, porque como vayas después de la 1, te quedas con las ganas y el antojo....

Location was nice and prices are really affordable! The server was more than helpful explaining the menu and the items. I wish I had more time to test their other food items during my stay in Torremolinos.

We ordered coffees and brownie. Coffee was good and the brownie was bit dry and not so sweet...
