Moma Beach Club — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Moma Beach Club was great. I stopped by to relax and have something quick to eat/drink. Ambience and its location were great, food (tapas on this occassion) was great and the service was good and friendly..until I asked for the bill. I converse in Spanish (bi-lingual) and asked for the bill explaining that I had to go to work (meaning I was rushing). Some of his boyfriends dropped in and my bill appeared to have been forgotten. Perhaps he was on a promise later? Despite trying to get attention no bill appeared. I didn't say anything because I was in a rush (and late for work because of it) but I went to the till instead and paid the bill. The most delicious local food and amazing friendly staff! Rober greeting us and was very friendly from the beginning. We arrived hungry. My partner had a cocktail and I had wine whilst we ordered. Rober recommended we try the chefs home made salmorejo (a chilled tomato soup with garlic, olive oil, jamón and boiled egg)! It was delicious. We ended up here because the place next door was booked up for the night. We were quickly surprised when every part of the experience and meal was superb. We eventually made reservations next door and found it to be not as good as MOMA. we returned to MOMA again on our last night in Torremolinos. The grilled squid was cooked to perfection and flavored with every ingredient you would expect to find in Mediterranean fine cuisine.
