El Gato Casablanca — Restaurant in Torremolinos

A delightful dining experience at El Gato! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout the evening. The food was nothing short of divine: the satay chicken was bursting with flavor, and the pork dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the dessert arrived and truly topped it all off an indulgent finish to a fantastic meal.

If I had one small suggestion, it would be to allow tipping via the card machine. Not many people carry cash these days, and it would be great to show appreciation for such excellent service more easily.

I was in Torremolinos for a few days, didn't really know where to eat but a friend had recommended to try the Peanut Satay there so I went. I loved it so much I ended up eating all my dinners there! A decent choice of cocktails with very creative and equally delicious recipes. Favourites were the Margarita, the Vegan Peanut Satay, and the Torrija (Spanish "French toast"). Comida bueno, waiter ok, until he wet my, not super cheap shoes (around 200 euros), in oil from our gambas Pil-Pil, when trying to clean our table. He didn't say sorry or asked to compensate via a complementary drink, or whatever. Super unprofessional and surprised about the level/lack of intelligence.
