Pizzería Novobar — Restaurant in Torremolinos

A nice place to eat. The food is delicious. What I really disliked about this place is that when we asked for the bill we saw that a 50 cent charge per person was added to the bill. It literally said ‘cubiertos’, which means they charge you for making the table (why would you even charge people for this when you’re trying to give them a lovely time in your reataurant?). We told the waitress we were displeased with this demeanor and she told us it was for the breadsticks - that we disn’t ask for, nor ate (???). She said she’d get it of the bill and said ‘o dios mio’ for everyone to hear while returning to the cashier desk…

It gives a bitter taste to the meal when you find out they are trying to squeeze some extra cents out of you and act like this when you say something about it. I hope the owner sees this and also does something about it because in fact charging for these things is...

By chance we found novobar yesterday we stopped for coffee wow wow wow , came today for lunch I had breaded chicken it was huge and the nicest chicken ever , if your in torremolinos you have to come here, il be back tomorrow as I'm told there cook the nicest and best pasta dishes Ask for jòan (my if iv spelt your name wrong )he was our server he will explain everything to you and the lovely Andrea ,top marks for everything see you again tomorrow Ps they do all types of smoothies and icecreams and I seen lots of people get take away pizza so you know it is good, all the staff are so friendly, ......best wishes from your new Irish friends..... (Glass of coke and kopperberg lol ) ..... .. ps we went to novobar everyday after that till we flew home, oh there chocolate muffin yum yum and there Belgium choc ice cream desserts yummy

By far one of the best restaurants we visited on our holiday. So good we went back a second time while staying in the area. The carbonara traditional was so good as were the pizzas, garlic bread and bruschetta. Service was great even at peak busy times. One thing that did concern me was that when our bill arrived it was over double what we were suppose to be charged, with many items that we did not order. It concerns me that our waiter, having tending to us for our time here, had not noticed all the extra charges before bringing it to our table. Once it was brought to his attention is was quickly fixed, although no explanation was given as to how this had happened. Other than that everything was amazing, the atmosphere and restaurant itself were stunning. If I am ever back in torremolinos I would do me back...
