El Mono — Restaurant in Torrevieja

Avoid this restaurant at all costs, they just don’t care about customers. We ordered speghetti napolian and paella for two. The speghetti dish was tasteless and the paella was burnt and welded to the bottom of the pan, so when we spooned off the top layer of the rice into our plates, this is when we discovered it was burnt and welded to the pan. We lost a third of the meal as it was welded. I showed this to the waitress and her attitude was so bad, she said it was supposed to be like that and acted like she couldn’t care less. I asked her to reduce the price of paella as a third of it was inedible but she said if we didn’t pay for it all she would call the police. The evening was ruined and we went home hungry and very disappointed. I'd give zero stars but it's not possible so. I had an anaphylactic attack and went to ask help from the staff of this restaurant because i wasn't able to call an ambulance by myself and the friends i had with me were so shocked that they couldn't do it. Also none of us speaks so good spanish that we could call the ambulance. The staff said that they can't stop their work to call a literal ambulance whitch takes about 3 minutes to do. The owner (an older man) of the restaurant said that it's not his problem and did nothing. Gladly there was this amazing customer who did help us and got the ambulance on the place. Absolutely shocking, avoid this place at all cost. Disrespectful, lack lustre and lazy staff, unprofessional manager with no idea how to treat customer complaints. Ordered a Moscow Mule, the drink was flat over powered by alcohol and flat ginger ale, sent back and changed for a Mojito which was equally dire, again sent back and no further drinks ordered. Husband had white wine and calamares. Bill came and we were charged for one of the sent back cocktails. We challenged this with the so called manager to be told we had to pay for at least one of the cocktails?!!!!!! Argument ensued, we then decided to pay the original bill to get the hell out the place only to be confronted with a new bill charging us for the two sent back cocktails.
