Every year when my family go on holidays, we always look forward to coming to Gandhi, over the years it has become a favorite in our area. However after tonight, i cant say i will ever return. I was very excited to order the butter chicken like always, sauce was impeccable with great flavour, but when i cut into the chicken.. completely pink, the same was with our tikka masala. We didnt continue to eat and had to wait a while before we could gain the waitresses attention, keep in mind the place had two tables so not busy. After about 20 minutes i waved her over and explained that the chicken appeared pink only to her telling me it was fresh chicken. I myself can understand the feeling of embarrassment when food is being complained about so i hated doing it. As someone who has been a waitress for countless years i can understand when customers can be unreasonable but this service was nothing but a disgrace. Not only did they not check on the food but then she denied it being pink and explained it was the lighting, it most certainly was not. Was never offered a replacement or even a discount. Had to pay full price for uncooked chicken. I can now understand why the place has grown quiet over the years.. arguing back with customers over something as serious as uncooked chicken is not acceptable. Lost out on a loyal customer. You guys were...

They have AC in the restaurant.
Great plain Naan!
The tikka had a nice presentation on the hot plate.
Neutral and negative:
Hands down the dryest meal I've had in a restaurant in my life... No doubt.
2.5€ for a 50ml bottle of (pre-opened) water.
Rice is not included in any of the dishes we ordered (except child menu).
Very little seasoning, barely tasted the masalas on the Tandoori grilled chicken. Which was served without any sauce. That had to be ordered separately. --- DRY!!
The Tikka masala stew was ok but also very little seasoning. Tasted mostly of cream and Tomatoes. The chicken was very very dry.
The Tikka child menu was a joke. A few pieces of dry barely seasoned chicken with unsalted rice and a slice of cucumber and some cabbage. That's is. A joke. 7.5€ for this, no sause what so ever. Dry!
The curry chicken was pretty good, but also this one was served with too little "stew sauce". The chicken was cooked into its soul -- DRY!
The girl in the counter seemed nice and had a smile - the rest did not seem interested in the guests. The food was served quickly and removed from the table just as quickly.
Nothing to do with the performance of the restaurant itself - the people in here were SO LOUD. Barely heard my family talking.
Won't go there...

I try as much as I can to leave positive restaurant reviews especially at this time of year as I know the industry struggles but I really did not appreciate how we were treated at this restaurant this evening.
I asked for a side portion of a veg option instead of a main and was told they would ‘ask’ the chef. No response given, when I asked I was told that they could only offer a ‘full size option’ and that I would not be ‘allowed’ to cancel my choice. When asked as to why I wasn’t informed of this before the chef started cooking the dish there was a shrug in response. We requested water which never arrived (with 3 tables eating in the whole restaurant) but it was then charged to our bill.
Poppadoms and chutneys charged separately and in my opinion were extremely expensive for what they were. I didn’t finish my meal (as I knew it was going to be too much which was why I wanted more of it) and when the waiter came out he cheekily commented ‘see, you nearly finished it’.
Will not be returning here which is a shame as we live in the area and regularly eat...
