Never eat at this place! Unless you want to regret it — then by all means, go ahead. We've been here several times and often had complaints, most commonly about burnt pizza that wasn’t sliced and came without a pizza cutter. The staff seems to assume that customers will either cut it with a regular knife or bite pieces off with their teeth. Of course, if you ask, they will bring a cutter. Just like you have to ask for olive oil or anything else. Nobody offers you anything — they just throw the food on the table. That’s the standard here — and not for a small price, as a pizza costs €16!
The wine is of very poor quality and extremely overpriced — €4.50 for a splash at the bottom of the glass that tastes like the cheapest €1.50 bottle (no offense to decent inexpensive wines). The staff not only shows zero interest in the guests but also rudely asks you to leave right after you pay the bill, even when you're still finishing your wine. I should also mention that the order wasn’t fulfilled — we didn’t get our starter because the waitress claimed she didn’t understand us, instead of simply asking for clarification.
Never again at this place — we’ve never been treated this badly, and we eat out regularly in this area. If you want a good meal without the stress, go somewhere else. There are plenty of great places nearby — better, cheaper, and with much...
Read moreA lovely vibrant restaurant with a real fun and holiday vibe.
The service was excellent considering they’re constantly very busy!!
The food was very good and not quite as excellent as we had hoped it to be.
On the surface it looks fab.
The salad was very tasty and yet we had to search for the avocado 🥑 as it was chopped into very small pieces and barely noticeable 😱
The pizza did look scrumptious and unfortunately as it was far too top heavy with vegetables it came out cold and a tad soggy in the middle.
The first pizza was kindly replaced at no charge and the second pizza was again a bit wet in the middle as the vegetables were too heavy and too wet for the pizza to cook through fully.
And the pizza was tasty and the edges tasted lovely.
So, would we recommend this restaurant and would we go back?
It’s definitely worth a visit for you to gauge if you like it yourself. Overall it’s a good night out kinda place.
We’ve lots of other places nearby that we love so not sure 🤔 if we’ll come back here. And if we do I’ll update this review and keep...
Read moreI do not recommend this restaurant. The service left a lot to be desired. We were served by a woman with red hair who was exceptionally unpleasant. She complained that she couldn’t understand my order, claiming I spoke too fast. Instead of clarifying or double-checking what we wanted, she simply ignored the appetizer we had asked for.
The pizza was served uncut — which might be understandable if that’s their standard — but no knife was provided to cut it. We had to ask for both a knife and olive oil. These are basic things that most places provide without having to be asked.
To top it off, after we had already paid the bill and were still finishing our drinks, the waitress came over and asked if we had finished eating. To me, that was a clear message: “It’s time for you to leave.” This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate and makes guests feel unwelcome.
In summary: rude service, a lack of basic customer care. The food might be okay, but the overall experience was enough to make me not want to return. I do not...
