Restaurante Gelateria Italiana — Restaurant in Torrevieja

This was our third visit here to give it the benefit of the doubt. On our first visit we couldn’t fault it, food was superb and service was fantastic, hence the return but on the second visit like tonight the gentleman who served us originally wasn’t there, it was a young girl with a couple of others. Food was good but service was appalling. We were served quite quickly once we sat down and food arrived promptly but that was it. Not once did we get asked if we wanted another drink or even if everything was ok, then after finishing our food we were sat with our empty plates (and glasses) for over 20 minutes which was a repeat of the previous visit too! We were going to have another drink and wanted some dessert as we’d asked for the set menu tonight, but waited so long we again had to get up and go inside to ask to pay the bill, which I’m not sure was even the right one tbh but my partner didn’t question it as we’d been sat so long he just wanted to leave. Blonde haired woman was INCREDIBLY rude to my sister and I. She needs an attitude adjustment asap or should not be working in customer service. My sister asked about flavours and she gestured to the ice cream and said "look in front of you" with a frown on her face before walking off.

There is a plastic board above the ice cream showing different flavours in cones, edible bowls, etc. When we were discussing amongst ourselves if we wanted it in a bowl or not she approached and told us the pictures were decoration only. She said this not in a polite way but in a very rude manner.

I suggested they maybe take that decoration down then as it is confusing being hung above where you order.

She took offence to this and angrily asked me why she should take it down, trying to start an argument with us

We left and ended up not buying anything at all If the owner of this establishment sees this review, you need to have a serious talk wirh this...

If I could rate this 0 I would, asked if they had a flavour and the blonde lady was so rude as she just said "we have what we got there" as she pointed to some flavours. I said okay thanks I was just asking tbh.. anyway.. we look up at the (photos) on a board advertised and as we looked and chatted she proceeds to say in a patrinizing voice, "they are just photos and that's not what we have" okay we said you shouldn't have these photos up then. Basically she didn't like that we said that to her as she said "you want me to take them off?" To which we reply.. well yes it's bad advertising..... but she just walked off mumbling go herself, she had no customer service skills what so ever, and should not be there. utter shocking behaviour and rude woman.
