Pleasantly surprised.
This one is a new restaurant in town and perhaps the only Indian restaurant here in Tossa de Mar. It's beautifully decorated and a nice upbeat place located in a street lined with different shops and is minutes away from the beach. So you can shop all you want and then stop here for a nice meal. Speaking of food, we had ordered samosas as appetiser and for main course Pulao rice, Garlic naan, Veg balti, Chilly garlic lamb and Dal Tarka. For drinks my wife ordered a Mango lassi and I went with good old cola.
Samosas were all right, there wasn't any chutney as accompaniment so a bit disappointing. Everything in the main course was delightful. Special mention: the lamb curry. The lassi made my wife "remember my mother" so no complaints there for sure. Overall we really liked the food.

Read moreWe visited this place for lunch, being vegetarian, ordered Biryani which was served with sauce. It tasted awesome, typical Indian taste with good quality spices like cumin seeds, astoefida, turmeric, pepper, balanced with salt, it satisfied our soul. The sauce was different n very nice in taste n texture that we ordered twice as seperete portion. Also ordered vegetarian pulao (similar to biryani but tasted just little different as mixed with peas n other different spice). We enjoyed our meal at peace. Sangria (wine) served with half cut lemon in full Jug (more than enough for 2 person) was very much liked by our tongue. Service time was 20 mins n served well within time. Ambience is simple but content n clean. Very kind and approchable staff. I recommend this place for food, service n indian...

The chef had a particular joy of banging the utensils while cooking and also scrapping the pan out to his hearts content. It was so noisy that I couldn’t even finish my dinner. Even after pointing out, nothing. So had to leave my meal in between.

First if you are an Indian shame on you for finger pointing. Second if you are not, then double shame for using Indian name in your restaurant. Lastly understand the customer and not the country. I even complained to your server. Wish I had recorded it.
Actually,...
