PICNIC Familia y Parrilla - Tres Cantos — Restaurant in Tres Cantos

Today's experience was not pleasant at the Picnic Restaurant. We were seated right in front of the grill inhaling all the smoke. We ordered Burger I, Burger II , Borchetta with fries and another Borchetta. The Burgers were luke warm at best with fries that were sitting in a metal bowl under a heat lamp probably over an hour. I asked for Brava Sauce for my fries which never showed up.The Borchettas had to be returned since they were cool and way under cooked. I noticed that the prepared food would sit at the counter for a significant amount of time before a waiter would deliver the food. Later my niece joined us and she ask for Burger II. We waited and saw the burger sitting on the counter then exchange hands of several waiters. We brought this the attention of our waiter and the manager showed up. We told him the whole story and said we're not interested in the passed around burger and we are leaving. The Manager apologized and tried to make it right by removing one of the Burgers from the bill. It's a shame since we've eaten there years past and given them good reviews. I believe there needs to be more quality control in preparation and delivery of the meal. I would definitely seek more more enthusiastic waiters that better serve the customers. The ones tonight acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us eat there. Not the ideal people you want serving customers. I wish them the best of luck in improving their meals...

We've discovered a cozy bar in the park, conveniently located next to the playground. It's an ideal spot to grab a bite while the kids play. The food is delicious, with yummy burgers, impressive hummus, and a variety of other tasty dishes.

The service at the bar is good, and the staff is friendly and kind to kids. However, it's worth noting that they do not accept cards, which can be a bit inconvenient at times.

Despite this minor drawback, we recommend this parkside bar for its enjoyable food, good service, and prime location near the playground. It's a nice place for families to spend some quality...

Hacía tiempo que no íbamos y decidimos quedar allí con la familia para cenar. Yo he ido varias veces a comer con amigas y el menú del día estaba apañado y muy bueno. Menuda decepción🤦🏻‍♀️ cuando cenamos ayer, no solo nos pareció carísimo para la calidad que ofrecen sino que fue todo atropellado. Pedimos una parrillada para compartir que supuestamente es para 3 o 4 personas y además de ser poca cantidad la que ofrecen te cobran por ella 68 euros y la calidad es regulera y encima con un pelo más largo que un día sin pan encontramos en el plato. Se les comenta y resulta que lo único que hicieron es quitar el trozo donde venía el pelo y nos vuelven a servir el mismo plato☹️ con la carne ya fria. La ensalada de burrata es para reírse: te cobran 13 euros por una burrata puesta en un plato con 3 hojas de rúcula y 4 trozos de pan… en fin y así todo… Desde mi punto de vista ha perdido calidad y se ha encarecido mucho. El resumen de la noche fue una cuenta de 230 euros para 5 adultos y un niño cenando en un parque al aire libre. Ah!! Y lo mejor es que el servicio constantemente te retira cosas de la mesa sin que hayas terminado, que o estás atento o del café solo con hielo que pides te tomas la mitad porque te lo quitan, vamos un descontrol tremendo!! Me da pena porque el sitio es acogedor y está muy bien el ambiente, y el recuerdo que tenía de otras veces era estupendo, pero ni si quiera el pan (que antes era buenísimo) es igual, todo ha perdido calidad y ha incrementado su precio.
