Wonder around the streets of Valencia, we decided to go off the beaten path, and get some decent food away from the tourist busy areas of the Casco Historico. We found by chance this "Greek" restaurant. Tired with two girls, we didn't want to walk anymore. So check the menu and for Meze food to share, however the owner came and give us another SET menu for €20, whoever been to Valencia, a €20 is a really good menu even in Barcelona at least expensive. Well we decided to stay and order. That was very disappointed, appreciate the owners where working, however not anybody else helping, so the service was slow and not up to the standards for a €20 set menu.
Salad was ok, nothing near to be a Greek Salad, but was good as a salad.
The rest, really was not good, we ask for chicken that came in the plate, YES only chicken!! nothing else a piece of chicken in an empty plate...
Desert was decent.
Also, pay machine wasn't working!! so only cash.
Just five minutes away few others restaurants, with menu del día, per €10 maybe €12.50. that will be really good. If you want a greek food experience this is definitely not the place.
Sorry for the review, they seem to be really nice people, however they do not know what they are doing running a...
Read moreExplored this spot with a few friends and we shared the following appetizers: Dolmades, feta, tzatziki, and the Greek salad. I would say the best one by far was the Greek salad, it was well-portioned and had the classic Greek toppings. Our least favorite were the dolmades, but i think it was a matter of personal preference. We annihilated the Tzatziki (which came with pita bread) and the feta. For the main I had the gyro with fries, it was very satisfying with plenty of meat. My friends tried the mousakka and they enjoyed it too. For dessert I had the baklava which was a little too sweet for my liking but it was good quality nonetheless. We visited on a weeknight as soon as they opened and service was great, nice decor with a Greek mural backdrop. I would definitely revisit just for the Greek salad and gyro...
Read moreNo suelo comentar restaurantes.
