This is a well regarded restaurant, but we did not have an excellent experience. The restaurant was closed for the holidays; we came right after reopening. So, I assume that is why the food and offerings were a bit limited. The appetizers of mushrooms and croquettes were excellent. However, the main dishes were mediocre and quite expensive. My husband had a lamb dish that he said was inedible( So tough that he could barely eat it). The duck breast was also reportedly tough and very rare. The rareness is not an issue as it was ordered that way, but my colleague said it was a bit hard to eat because it was so sinewy. I had gnocchi, which was tasty but the preparation was strange. It was accompanied by a lot more starch and no other vegetables. The house wine was terrible, and I only say that because I live in Valencia and I have never been served a wine that was so disappointing at a nice restaurant. We ordered two other bottles of wine that were good, but pricey. Our bill was expensive given the fact that only one our if four people like their food. We are not picky people, but this was off par for Valencia. There are many great restaurants in the city that are far...

This little restaurant was close to the hostel that we stayed at, and I’m so glad we found it. Everything we tried here was amazing. The bravas came with three different dips: a garlic aioli, a spicy option, and (our personal favorite) a tarragon one as well. The risotto was full of flavor; it felt like comfort food. Just warm and hearty. The chocolate mousse was so decadent and I loved all of the crumbly bits as well. The portions are sized well and very filling.
Perhaps the cherry on top of the whole thing is the amazing service we received from Guillaume and Virgile (forgive me if I misspelled names!). They were so nice and personable, they gave suggestions and told us about their background in food service and their inspirations for their dishes as both chefs and entrepreneurs. Their passion for creating recipes and experiences translates well into their flavors and I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s craving a delicious welcome...
